Pegram pays no attention to costs nor bids. The officials spent more than $800,000 in legal and engineering fees 0n a $10,000 paving job. The ELECT decided to try to "fool" the Court but the Appeals Court saw through the attempt to, not only, "defraud the Court" but everyone else as well. The Town did not even attempt to show the actual costs of repairs- The Court pointed out that the Town's Engineer had made it clear that the Town was not to allow the Fire engine to park on the thinly paved auto park area which was over more than 8 feet of uncompacted clay fill. Pegram has a long history of ignoring bidding, specifications, permitting, professional inspection, or even looking at their own Codes and responsibilities. Town Officials have little knowledge of their duties or the basic purposes of government. There is NO peace, safety nor happiness in the Town of Pegram and the "Officials" and employees simply ignore the needs of the Town. Complaints are met with retaliation and withholding of services.
