The new Publix Pharmacy in Fairview TN.
Folks we are all happy to finally get a quality grocer in Fairview. This will be great especially with gas prices going through the roof.
Just look at all the benefits. You do not have to drive 15 miles down the hill and 15 miles because the meat is not fit for the dog.
Clean, fresh, and helpful service without any questions, guaranteed.
I would like to caution everyone on one segment of the store. Here is my story on the Pharmacy.
I asked the druggist if they carried my prescription? After some computer research she explained they did not have the name brand but, did have the generic.
When someone says generic~I think cheap.
I asked her to give me the cost she said $38.75.
I can fill this at Walgreen's, get the brand name and pay $5.
The most I ever paid was $7.
The product is FLUCONAZOLE Tablet, 150 mg packed (3) per refill.
So I took my drug business down the road 15 miles to Walgreen's, got my 3~pills and gave them $5.
Now if I did the math right:
Publix wanted $12.92 per pill.
Walgreen wanted $1.66 per pill.
And that my friend will cover the cost of the gas to go down the hill and back as we always have.
Moral of the story:
NEVER ware your bib overalls to the pharmacy.
ALWAYS check your pricing options.
PUBLIX just may not be all we hoped for.
Y'all have a good day now, ya hear.
