I remember the river back from the stage and everyone swimming/skinny dipping. And one poor bastard fell from a tree and had to be life flighted. Ahh, good times. 3 Days of rock n roll well before Bonaroo.

Yeah,I didn't see it but across the river is owned by Union Carbide, that's where I work now.The men are still carrying on about them naked hippies in the river! They were all riding back there and watching them. The area where the concert was is now the county landfill.

I was there & got in free. Every store that sold Miller Beer was given 2 free tickets. So I went to three of our local friendly neighbor hood store's & they gave me there tickets. I had six tickets total. I found some friends & off we went to the Electric Cowboy Festival in Colombia, TN :) I still have one of the band line up posters.

I worked the festival, security, fire truck and clean up. We had a camper burn up in the parking lot and a truck driver in a hurry move a car with a forklift and he ended up flipping the car (jumped in his truck and split!).
I was doing Howling Wolfman Jack on my radio and fooling folks constantly!
Ahh, the good ole daze, I still have a few (bootleg) tee shirts and a poster on a ceiling in my house.

Oh man, I was there with about 5 or 6 friends in a van and car also. Brought a keg, cases, and lots of herbal essence. Came down from KY for it. The naked woman other posts are referencing was probably my wife, very well endowed and quite the exhibitionist. It was all good. Damn, it was fun. I was 23 then, do the math, lol.

Yeah I was there slept in a sleeping bag in font of the stage all three nights, got lucky enough to get back stage with some of the band guys cause I had some good reefer back then. I remember swimming in the river cause it was so hot and all the naked people. I never understood why it didn't get recognition the line up was fantastic you couldn't get bands like that together today. Bands like Molley Hatchet Joan jett Kansas Alman Bros. It was good times.
