would like information on coopertown police on I-24 are they allowed to give tickets?

Yes they are. As of June 1 2008 I beleive is the date. For Jan 08 - May 08 they was not.

Yes they are. I-24 is part of the Coopertown city limits. Even though it is interstate if it is in a city limits a city officer can give a ticket. Also watch out for county deputies...they too are able to write tickets if the interstate goes through their county.
