Williamson schools avoid parks that allow guns
Williamson County schools are canceling field trips and rescheduling track meets to keep students out of parks without handgun bans.

Like someone who is going to commit a crime with the gun cares if they're allowed in the park or not....please!!!!!!!

This is just a case of people that are scared of guns. They dont care that permit holders are they safest people that carry weapons, under police and military. All you have to do is mention a gun, and they freak out. The bad guys that would rob you, rape you that have knives/guns ect that you need protection from dont care about the law. Some of them have guns. Due to response times, you would most likely be dead and the crook long gone before we get there. I will still have my weapon in the park, because I carry off duty. For that matter, I will still have my weapon off duty under TCA 39-17-1350 during school events, or on school property.
