So, what do you call the "right direction" ? Voting to restrict our use of natural resources ? Him driving a big, gas-guzzling SUV on the back of the taxpayers ? What's the right directions for this guy sucking big time at the teat of the taxpayer ?

Well Vlad, you can't have it both ways. You hate Hornaman and you hate Smith. There's one thing that's a guarantee--you're gonna get one or the other. At least with Hornaman, we can see his track record. Putting politics aside, it's a pretty damn good record for this area. I'm supporting Hornaman and I hope you do the same. I've seen enough of the negative crap coming from the Smith/Earll campaign to realize that Smith will be nothing but a puppet for Earll. And FYI ALL of the State Reps and State Sens. get paid for their mileage to and from Harrisburg, as it should be. After all, they're going there to represent US.

Vlad, usually I agree with your posts, but your dead wrong with this one. Sorry.

Hornaman supported responsible government as a PA Clean Sweep candidate. He no sooner was elected he immediately ran out and leased a fat ride Ford SUV. He doesn't claim mileage. Rather he and all the other scoundrels get expensive cars, gas credit cards, car insurance on the backs of the taxpayers. Hornaman could have leased a fuel sipping Ford Escort. No he rand out and got a gas-guzzling SUV.

In other words....Hornaman's the lesser of two evils. How sad. I must agree with you. But Hornaman has become one of the good ol' boys.

FYI....Smith WORKS for Earll as an office manager or some sort of bureaucrat. And yes....Earll needs to be gone. However, the voter will keep her in just as you will keep Hornaman in. It's a double-edged sword.

Knowing John personally, I can say that most of what you said is false.

Clean sweep = yes

Big Ford SUV = yes, but it belongs to his wife and he had it long before he was elected. John actually drives a Chevy or GM which he paid for. Im not sure about the insurance thing, but Im positive he turns in mileage, just like every other elected official.

Smith = yes, she works for Earll. Its funny, when John made a stop through my neighborhood I asked him if Jane Earll was running against him or if Regina Smith was his opponent. With all stuff you see of TV and receive in the mail, it looks like these two women are running together. Clearly, Smith will be nothing but a yes maam for Earll.

I wanted to clear some of that stuff up because it sounds like you are a good person who was just given some bad information. Unfortunately, you cant believe everything you get in the mail or see on the TV, especially when it comes from campaigns.

I agree with you regaring Smith and Earll. I have a real problem with a woman who doesn't take her husband's name like Earll has refused to do. Smith....one of her campaign brochures states that government's job is to "help" the "truly needy". Who the hell is some clown in government to tell me I have to help whomever they define as the truly needy ? Nope....Smith is a RINO who believes government (meaning the taxpayer)should be taking care of the "truly needy" on my back.

Regarding Hornaman....I believe he's become one of the good ol' boys down in Harrisburg. I'd be interested to know how many times he received daily per diem for days he wasn't in Harrisburg.

Word is Hornamans wife calls the shots on votes in the legislature and on the campaign, wonder why she didn't run and he could have kept on painting?

With opinions like that no wonder everyone liked Ally Sheedy better.
