Millions of dead fish have shown up in our bay. The article I read on stated that its not environmental. It also stated that its only a few types of fish. I saw with my own eyes, carp, walleye, perch, sunfish, minnows, blue gil, and lg and sml mouth bass. They claim that its because the fish took refuge in our bay and froze in the ice and quickly defrosted half alive. Millions of fish? And the ice thawed weeks ago, how come I saw fish still struggling from the bottom of misery bay? I think something is being covered up. Does anyone know anything about this?

Totally natural. Same thing happened when I lived in Wisconsin. The fish seek refuge under the ice of a bay or inlet(they usually freeze over first)but because it is a small, enclosed area, the oxygen in the water is used up fast by all those fish. Once the oxygen is gone, the fish start to die off. Doesn't matter what kind of fish...they all need oxygen to live. I've lived here a few years now and it happens every year...some years worse than others but it still happens.

If something is being covered up, you would not see the fish.

same fish kills happened years ago in the West and East slips when he old Penelec station had warm water disharge into the bay. The fish (mostly shad) would seek the warmer waters, deplete the oxygen, and die off. It was always a smelly reminder when the lakers docked at the Sassafrass St. pier would leave port and stir up the bottom of the bay. Whatever was left on the bottom would surface and begin reeking all over again.

The fact is it was the Port Authority. They allowed used fracking brine to be dumped in the bay. My buddy Jerry saw it too with his evidence room binoculars.

Then again, I just make things up to bust Ray Schreckengost's balls and get my way.

Me too. You need to watch more Animal planet. I love seeing nature takes its course. Love to see a pride of Lions or Hyaenas rip a zebra to shreds. Love to see the Python snake crush and swallow the cute little bunny rabbit. Love to see the shark rip a baby seal to shreds and then devour it. I love nature.
