He is quoted as saying he is a "taxpayer" we'll by the article he doesn't pay his taxes. Second seems like he did a lot of shopping on this trip. We should demand the itemized credit card bill from the school district to see what times the purchases were made. Was he supposed to be at the conference at those times?

You will get no detail on this. Policy is don't ask, don't tell.

Really put that document conference to some good use. State you didn't get the email, (document) ignore notes (document) from a lawyer. Pay the bill when at a meeting you're advised that the local newspaper wants to see the travel reports.(smoking gun document). His best interest are for the children though. Make sure your tank is empty when you drive to the airport, so you have a full tank of taxpayer gas. At least it was North American crude.

Boy are Erie Taxpayers stupid. Petrungar (a former ESD employee) should not have been elected to the school board in the first place. The same goes for the other recent electee and former ESD employee:Robbie Fabrizi.

Why were these two even elected to the school board? That's like having the fox guarding the chicken coop. Fabrizi is another bozo who will end up being a public embarrasment.

LOL. Looks like Petrungar will fit right in with that school board!

So he said he lost his credit card after his Utah trip(Sept.8)and doesn't know how the final three expenses for gas at Country Fair were billed to his card(Sept.11,20,and24).The board secretary reports it missing on Oct. 10...within days of being told it's missing. Shouldn't there be a police investigation to find out who purchased this gas with a "found" credit card? I'm sure Country Fair has cameras...

Don't ask and the S.D. won't tell. Remember, vote for Frank again. And most of all, screw the taxpayer.

Frank Petrungar, Robbie Fabrizi, Ed Brzezinski, Mary Schenley, and Bob Casillo are all very close friends. If you do not think that they are not all in this thing together you are mistaken. If they stick together they can get anything they want passed. Their best interests are protecting their friends and family as well as keeping them employed. Frank, Robbie and Ed were all employees of the Erie School District and should have never been able to run.

This is what Ed Palattella and the Times News should investigate after they are done taking Frank down.

Criminal investigation for fraud and theft should be considered but the school board has no gonads - unless the person is black and then they themselves wo9uld call the ETN. Anyone else would be investigated.

First of all frank petrungar has been a great friend of mine for over twenty some years. He is a very nice person and is always willing to help someone at the drop of a hat. The people that are close to frank know who did this and what they're motivation was. This was an attack on a innocent person. Frank is new to the school board wasnt really sure of the procedures yet. It could happen folks. And all of a sudden the first time he forgot to follow thru with something. This person was waiting to throw him under the bus. Makes you wonder doesnt it? Someone with sour grapes syndrome decided to sabotage frank as soon as they "got something on him" and ran to pallatella like a little bitch. Karma bus will always come back around for you buddy. Your day will come. And as for frank getting his son employed and having a dirty urine. Rj did get a laborers job which by the way is the lowest paying job in the whole department. Oh yeah after working part time for over four years. Is that not enough time to be considered for a position. R.j. did not fail a drug test. He injured his back and was concerned because he had taken a pain pill so that he could go to work the next day. End of story. I wish the "so called person" who tried to destroy franks reputation over a simple procedural problem That has been resolved already could find the good in people and stop trying to ruin a very nice man who is going to do great things with the erie school district. Stay classy erie!

Sure that's right he was innocent and just thrown under the bus. Wow, who the hell in their right mind would charge clothes, gas, and other personal items off to the Erie S.D. and then say they were unaware of the policy (after the fact, when called on it). Buying clothes, etc. with public tax dollars, I'm sure we all would have thought that this was a justifiable reimbursement. Did not this Frank guy also work for the Erie S.D. at one time? Makes no sense whatsoever. He has to think others are pretty damn gullible to believe this nonsense. And as for Junior, did he mention to the test source that he had taken pain pills before the test due to bad back, OR was this another revelation of ignorance after the test results came back. You should tell your friend that none of this comes close to passing the smell test. He has no credibility, he should resign as soon as possible. And you Sir or Ms. are an idiot for your post.

How is/was Frank Petrungar able to retire at 48 years old? Did he have some kind of physical problem?

He worked over 30 years at the district and they offered incentives to get people to retire so he took it.

And he NEVER knew he could not charge the Eris S.D. for personal items. Maybe some one should look to see what he charged when he was (ha-ha) working there. He most likely is collecting a fat pension and is still stealing from the taxpayers of Erie. WOW!! This sucker should be kicked out immediately. What was his position there?? Probably in the Finance Department. FACKING AWESOME!

He knew but who is going to remind him? Employees can't speak at board meetings and if they could who would say anything that could put their job in jeopardy. He was useless as an employee and even worse as a board member. He should be kicked off board and the rest of them should be investigated unless they want 3 more years of this.
