I’m surprised that there is no discussion of the library relocation vote on this forum. The board is apparently planning a new vote.

I believe they were planning for a budget of $1.5-3 million, but the vote was for an amount several times larger. I can understand some uncertainly ($1.5-3 million is already a fairly wide range), but this does not make any sense (at least for us). Of course, it is convenient for the board and the library, but I think such vague planning is irresponsible. Unless, I’m missing something.

My post was about library relocation in Fairport, NY. Apparently, this forum is not as local as I originally thought.
