Just filled up at $2.33/gallon at Racetrac at Rocky Face. Why is it still $2.49 in Chatsworth?

It's actually simple economics. First of all, we're further away from a main hub of traffic (Interstate) so the trucks have to travel a greater distance to reach the stations. A very large portion of the gas GA uses comes from Louisiana via a gas pipeline that ends just outside of Atlanta. Second, we're a smaller town, and we're usually a week or 2 behind Dalton's price fluctuations. If gas prices go down, we don't sell as much, so they're still trying to sell last week's more expensive gas before they can move the cheaper gas in.

If you want to go that route, the DJIA was ~7000 when he took office, now it's at 10k.

I'll see your job loss, and raise you the number of speeches that have amounted to nothing. Sorry, I lost track of that one.

Every thing is higher over here. Do what I do every week when I go to walmart fill up over in dalton. I wouldn't make a special trip over there that would be defeating your purpose but let's admit it everyone goes to walmart at least once a week. After all everything is much much much much cheaper than over here in CHATSWORTH.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Libra

Remember that life isn't all fun and games: handle your responsibilities first, then plan how to have a good time. Your impulses, once you yield to them, will have a tendency to lead you further and further from where you need to be. Make sure you lock the door behind you before disappearing; when you're in this kind of mischievous mood, you probably won't want anyone else to know where you're going.
