Honey, the health department is about as worthless as the food in this place. I seriously doubt the health department is too concerned with how much dirt is at the diner. They're only - very slowly -about what ever comes through their door...they don't go looking for trouble...too damn lazy.

Only about half the items on the menu were available. Service was slow. Food on a scale of 6 out of 10 rating. I'll not be back.

When I went awhile back the food was decent and the prices were ok. Like others said the seats at the booths were cracked and the shades were bent but i'll take that for the bad.
If they had staff that cared they could probably help themselves there.

The Hightone Ladies Garden Club held a supposed to be lovely early Spring Social over to the DJDining Room last week. It should be noted by the press that over half of our Club has been bedfast ever since. Mrs. Hanover, our Club President, has stated that the sickness visited upon our Society Matrons who dabble with their gardens had nothing to do with the unappetizing food, the tacky decor, or the unbelievable [even for this place]dirt. An investigation is underway, and we will report to the public our findings. Sincerely, Mrs. Richardson.

Whilest the garden club was at said eatery, why pray-tell did you not take advantage of the opportunity to plant some perennial posies in the fertile soil between the seats and under the tables?

We have news from our Club. The ladies who were taken ill at the DiningRoom of the aforementioned establishment were stricken not by anything untoward in said eatery. Rather, all suffered a sudden shock at the sight of a slim nude gentleman standing in a second floor window at the adjoining motel. Our members are of the delicate sort, and this display was overwhelming especially to our older gardeners. In a show of good spirit, however, we shall carry on with our plans to host soon another Garden Club meeting at the DiningRoom. Several members plan to bring their opera glasses for a closer look at the scenery. Sincerely, Mrs. Richardson

the companies that process the card transactions charge a fee. makes perfect sense to me to charge at least half that to people using a card. i know a fmt busness that gives 5% discount when payin wit cash. it saves that fee.

Maybe your suppliers/wholesalers should start charging you extra for using credit, but I'm sure you'd think that was fair too.
I shouldn't have to pay more for a hotdog than some loser who has an EBT card or who uses cash because they can't qualify for a credit card. If those are the folks you want to attract to your business, go for it; but like I said, there are plenty of other places in town that will appreciate by business and not charge me extra because I use a credit card.

I don't see anything wrong with using cash. I prefer it. I hate getting in line behind someone using a debit/credit card because it takes them forever!! You have to wait for them to enter their pin number then you have to wait for the cashier to do whatever it is they do, then the customer has to answer a bunch of questions....i.e...do you want cash back? If they do then they have to choose an amount then they have to approve it, then they have to answer yes or no to the question asking them if the amount is correct and if they are getting cash back you have to wait for the cashier to open their drawer back up and give them their cash!!! If you pay with cash, you give them your money, they give you your change and you're on your way.

Paying with cash does not make someone a loser :-p

Love the food but the owners are pulling a fast one! They are charging you a 4 percent visa charge on ALL charge ,debit transactions.thy are having the waitresses tell the customer the charge card people are making them do it. that's not true the visa company's uped their rates and this place is pretending they are making them do it. It is going to them not the company. tell them to stop its going to hurt thir business.
If they cared about hurting their business they would have done something about Dj, poor service, lazy employees on drugs, dirty and a slow cook that looks like he was picked up out of a ditch years ago.

It is a shit hole. Thanks but no thanks.

Dr. Patel is the health inspector. If you take a look at his office on Locust Ave. the grass will be tall and the hedge will need trimmed. That is any given day. If he doesn't care about his own office, he certainly doesn't care about what you eat.

What makes you think we want EBT and sad sacks with bad credit shopping at the same store as us?

You seem familiar with the process. Pull out your plastic and stick it to the people in line behind you.
