Boy,
That was one heckuva game last night.
I had to turn down the sound on the TV and turn on the radio because of Collinsworth's man crush on the Patriots.
I don't know how Brady was able to maneuver in the pocket the way he was, what with Collinsworth hanging on his nutz the way he was.
Brady is a good QB, but it is because of Belichunk's system, not because of Brady. Matt "White" Cassel proved that last year by coming in, not having started a game since High School, and pulling out a winning record, proving that either Cassel was a phenom (Hows KC lookin?) OR that Brady is given way too much credit for that offense. Hmmmmm...

Yeah, it was obvious that Brady's bag was dragging the ground with Collinsworth's claw marks showing in it. And Brady, of course, couldn't help but expose his little bitch-side again during the end of game "handshake" with Manning.
It is so sweet when these announcers get it shoved down their throats when the Colts make a 4th qtr comeback.

Now we get a whole week of "You stole our team" crap from the Bowel-timore fans.
They always seem to leave out the part where they took the Browns from Cleveland, though.

Allright, take Bellychunk's dick out of you mouth for a minute so you can concentrate on the rules of football.
The receiver must have control of the ball in order to be granted forward progress. Faulk bobbled the catch, and did not have contol of the ball until he hit the ground, at which time the location of the ball was marked by an official, who was just a couple of feet away, to be about a yard and a half short of the first down.
Personally, I don't have a problem with Bunnycheek trying to keep the ball out of Manning's hands, but what I don't understand was going for exactly 2 yards on a 4th and 2.
I would understand hitting Welker in the slot for 5 or 6, or throwing one of those really high passes that only Moss can jump up and get for about 8 to 10, but to try for exactly 2 yards makes no sense whatsoever.

RJS is just in denial that his media-annointed team pussed on 4th & 2. Of course, like other spats fans, he thinks his view of the play he questions, was much clearer than the official's.

yea, you guys are right. I should give credit where credit is due. peyton manning played his heart out in that game. after all, he would like two more super bowl wins to achieve tom bradys success.

How many of those fancy super bowl rings were earned honestly? Mr. Bilicheet doesn't exactly have a great track record in winning fair and square. Yeah, they all have those 3 rings, but we all know the truth!

This thread cracks me up. Die-hard Colts fan here, and quite frankly we didn't deserve to win this game. With the exception of the first drive and the last 5 minutes, we played terribly. Pats outplayed us in every possible way, but they got hurt by poor timeout management and Belicheck's decision to go for it on 4 and 2. By the way, that was probably the correct decision, and it was probably a bad spot. I'm not sure that there would've been enough to overturn it on a challenge, but it could've gone either way on the initial call.

Bottom line, its a W for the colts. Great teams both, and a great game.

Like I said, I don't necessarily think it was a bad idea to go for it on a 4th and 2, I just think that going for the exact amount of yardage needed was a stupid thing to do.
I think it was a good spot, but if Bollychick would have gone for more than 2 yards the spot of the ball wouldn't have been an issue.
I also agree with you that for about 90% of that game the Colts played the worst football they've played since the San Diego game last year. New England was in scoring position TWICE and gave us the ball with the interception by Bethea and the fumble out of the end zone, and we still had to rely on the 2 minute drill at the end to pull out a 1 pt victory.

You have to be able to finish. New England had two turnovers in the end zone and couldn't keep the Colts out of the end zone in the 4th quarter-which includes the final drive. The Colts finished....New England did not. It doesn't matter how you play, it's the final score that counts. The Colts won and the Patriots lost.

OK.
On to this week's game.
Baltimore looked absolutely horrible against the Browns, going into halftime with a 0-0 tie.
They scored 6 offensive points, and may not have Terrell Suggs in the lineup Sunday.
Baltimore is a hostile environment for the Colts, and you can bet there will be pictures of Mayflower trucks everywhere.
What are the predictions for this weeks battle?

Look, we all know there were more tapes, and they were all supposedly turned in, and then immediately destroyed by the commisioners office. Nobody reviewed the tapes, so nobody really knows what was, or wasn't on them.
Let's not get into the cheating thing, because non of it matters now. The Pats got caught, they were slapped on the wrist, they lost to the Giants.

Let's move on to this week's Colts/Ravens game, ok Patsy?

Do you really think the Ravens, who couldn't score on the pathetic Browns, will put up 24 on the Colts?
You must be out of your mind.

We're already into December, so it's time to do some serious thinking about your festive preparations. How are they coming along? If you haven't even started them yet, there's no need to be gripped by a senseless panic.
