I went in to put an application in the other day. The first thing I was appalled at was the fact that they were all sitting around a table chatting. It took five minutes before someone even took notice of me. Finally they pointed me to where the applications were. I sat there and filled out the whole application and then went to hand it in. Well then the manager walked away and someone else was handed my application. Well the manager walked away and let this other employee look over my application. Then in a snide voice said, "I think she's already hired for this position." If they had already hired why was the signs still up. Also, it would have been more polite if the manager herself would have talked to me.

It's definately going down hill. The food is good but the customer service is poor. It seems the cashiers think they are doing you a favor by waiting on you. Management is scraping the bottom fo the barrel for workers it seems. I'd rather go to the dentist than to Hardees.

We went there last summer. The employees were standing ankle deep in backup flow from a stopped up grease trap, still taking orders and serving food. It took me a moment after I had ordered to notice the water. I ask the cashier what it was, he told me and I requested my money back. I got my money back and left. Still hard to believe they were told to keep serving and not closing the doors. I was told that they had men out back trying to fix it. Never will step foot in there again. Filthy place.

I've never been to the Hardees in Fairhope, however this seems to be the rule and not the exception with the Hardees chain. The Hardees in Enterprise, Montgomery, DeFuniak Springs and on I-10 near Tallahassee are the four Hardees I've had to stop in during the past two years (not by choice). I probably will never stop at another one, since they were all filthy. If I owned that company, I'd be visiting my stores and know what my customers are seeing. I don't think the crispy fried roaches are on the menu in all locations. You all in Fairhope are the lucky ones.

yeah CLB I'm with you I would be visiting all of them with no notice just show up out the blue to see what was going on in my stores and if things weren't right I'd start at the top and work my way down the line chewing ass's and firing who needs
to be fired to many people out of work right now
so it shouldn't be hard to replace the losers with
some one who might take a little pride in there work.

Where is the Health Department if all of this conversation about filth is true?

Have you ever noticed the Health department scores that are posted? There is a huge difference between a 99 and a 79. I have really started paying attention to these scores. Low scores will not shut them down, because there is a certain range they can work in.(Much like in school, a "D" is a passing grade, but is it a good grade?) Certain cities have detailed Health Department reviews posted in their papers. When I lived in Atlanta, not only were the reviews in the paper, but on the nightly news as well. They basically warned consumers of these low Health Department ratings and listed the violations. The violations ranged from rat droppings found in food items, to improperly stored chemicals, to sub-standard food storage...the list was detailed. Enterprise is not one of the cities that reports violations. I doubt Defuniak does as well. The other two Hardees I visited were on the interstate between major cities, so I'm assuming that their counties don't have the detailed reporting. It is eye opening when you start really paying attention to those numbers posted.

It used to be great back when Thomas Massey ran things. Of coarse that was back when they cared about customer service, a concept lost on todays generation.

When I used to work in Fairhope, I often visited the Hardees restaurant in town and wasn't thoroughly appalled at either the employees or the condition of the eatery. That being said, Hardees in Downtown Mobile is far superior in terms of worker quality and cleanliness.

If you see anything to complain about, please capture it with a camera phone.

The service sucks, food is aweful, and store seems rarely cleaned. I don't want any of the people touching the food I feed my dog...

They need some SERIOUS Safe Serve training! And a bottle of Clorox wouldn't hurt them either.

After getting my license plates renewed, decided to swing by this Hardee's before heading back to work in Mobile. I was second in line when I pulled up to the drive thru. Sat there for at least 7 minutes before it was my time to pull forward. When I finally got to place my order I was told to hold one moment....that one moment lasted 5 minutes! Cars were piling up behind me. I finally gave up and just drove off and went to the McDonalds down the street. I won't go back.

I thought the only Hardees that was absolutely filthy and had the worst help was the one in Foley. I hardly go to Hardees anyway so they can go out of business for all that I care. It seems that the Health Department is concerned about the temperature of the refrigerator but has no concern about the slovenly habits of the employees like biting their finger nails, running their hands through their hair, picking their teeth, using the same cloth to wipe the tables that they use to wipe the seats, etc.
