Fairhope City Council to reduce mayor's pay by 50 percent
A longstanding conflict between Mayor Tim Kant and a majority of the City Council stands to flare up tonight as the council considers a measure to decrease the pay of the mayor elected in 2012 by 50 percent.

Too bad the Council can't reduce the salaries of teachers by 50% if they really want to get serious about saving money.
