“Fairhaven Wind remains genuinely interested in working with the Town of Fairhaven to address the concerns of some of its citizens regarding the operation of the turbines. However, at present there is no legal obligation for Fairhaven Wind to curtail or alter its operations. We have encouraged the Town to initiate discussions with us as soon as possible on how best to reach a long-term resolution of the concerns that have been raised. We are prepared to meet with representatives of the Town at any time. Our goal is to implement a plan with the cooperation of the Town so that the community can continue to maximize the benefits of wind energy.”
