Massachusetts has a renewable energy goal of 2000 megawatts of renewable energy by the year 2020.
It is time to re-examine the health impacts on residential home owners in the path of giant megawatt turbines. It's clear Massachusetts made mistakes with its wind siting model by laws for cities and towns.
Falmouth, Scituate , Fairhaven and Kingston have thousands of noise complaints from the megawatt turbines. The Massachusetts Department of Environment has recognized there are types of sounds from megawatt turbines other than regulatory noise. The state continues with its renewable energy agenda on the backs of wind turbine victims.
The proper amount of distance between wind turbines and residents to prevent health effects on residents has never been determined. The sound and pressure differences have created health problems for people because they can't get a good nights sleep.
