It was on WFIW today that the autopsy had been completed and the remains had been sent to an FBI LAB for further review. They concluded that the results of the autopsy had not yet been made public.

It seems too perfect of a crime. Her phone was wiped, left a note saying don't look for her, body was disposed of in the middle of nowhere, wrapped in a blanket(possibly) to mitigate the smell and to camouflage. What kind of person could commit the near perfect murder and know how to leave practically zero EVIDENCE,what kind of person would have experience with EVIDENCE...on a regular basis and know what mistakes not to make?

Anyone ever thought that perhaps the mom and step dad as well as another close friend might have had a altercation in another house that the mother owns and that the murder may have indeed happened there? Has anyone ever thought about the fact that may be murder wasn't the plan but it happened after a argument between her and whomever got out of hand? Can anyone tell me why a room in a former home still owned by the mother had a room gutted just hours after she was reported missing? You know that house behind Lemonds Yamaha, Honda south of Fairfield? I sure hope the FBI looks into that place for forensics which might lead to the place where the murder happened. I can't say for sure but I can say the person who was living there and renting from this young girls mother was very nervous about something during this time as well. I wouldn't blame the son of a state trooper this soon into the game. However the argument had between this girl and her parents might lead to more answers than any of us want to believe. Also we might ask ourselves just why the money for a search and rescue was turned down about two months into this matter and also we should ask ourselves just what the money collected was spent on. I'm sure there is hidden answers in all of that mess. It is an avenue which needs investigated no doubt. This is a murder investigation and I wouldn't dare point a finger in speculation but if I was an investigator I would certainly follow up on all of this.

Umm nope . You must be related to the coo or his son. Trying to make people look elsewhere. I'm sure you're covering for them too. Nobody pay attention to this. The real killer will be put away!

You must be insane or just plain stupid to believe one word of what you just said. I'm related to no one you have mentioned. You on the other hand are running from the obvious. For all we know you may be the real killer.

Someone committing the perfect crime would not dump a body. They would get rid of it. Dissolve it. No trace.

Oh,and who has been arrested for it?Maybe they didn't need to....maybe she was raped, and smothered to death...maybe her throat was cut....many scenarios where maybe they just needed the time...because a skeleton isn't going to indicate anything about a persons death unless they were shot through the head or what have you...nah,this person knew the area well, had a reason to kill her, maybe have been watching her house waiting for an opportunity for her mom to leave....who knows

I'm related to no one in this town but the parents seem to be in the wrong. Not turning over all evidence and even destroying some. If my child disappeared I would not turn it in as a run away due to lack of intensity of searching or resources for the search. Something is fishy and the truth will come out. But having a child disappear and act like it's just a teen age prank or when u are told there are remains found and u act like it's nothing says guilty to me.

What brings you to such conclusion that the parents were so heavily involved? I'm asking for a friend or two that may have had reason to have similar thoughts as you have expressed. We are all so sad that Megan's killer/s are/ is walking around free living their life/lives.

I send out this intent everyday: Justice for Megan.
