Finally we will get rid of our good friend Chris and then in 2012 we can get rid of the other half of the dynamic duo and send Joe into retirement.

I bet Chris doesn't mention that he is a Republican in any of his ads or printed material.

For Jim Hines it is really important that Obama clearly endorse him and that they put out joint advertising material. Best case would be for Obama to make some radio ads urging voters to vote for Jim so that his agenda can get through the House of Representatives.

I'm saddened by the comments posted here, Chris Shays has done an admirable job for his constituents.

Not this year...The voting drive that will take place by the Democrats in Bridgeport and Stamford will be unbelievable. It will not be just the youth vote it will be all of us who are sick of the harm that Bush inflicted upon the USA and our reputation in the world supported by the enablers such as Chris and Joe.

With over 70% of the populace of this country firmly against the war in Iraq and even more firmly against any aggression against Iran (who poses zero threat to the US) Chris Shays is way out of touch with the people that elected him. Same for Lieberman who changed his spots rather than give up his seat on the gravy train. Both should go, both should have to do a real days work for a change. You know where they will wind up? as highly paid lobbyists. Shays for the military industrial complex and Joe for Aipac. Watch and learn.

Nancy DiNardo and her brother Sal both belong in jail. The Democrat Party in Connecticut is completely corrupt. Vote against the Democrats who initiated deregulation of Electric rates which are hurting consumers and driving jobs out of our state! and screw the phoney Obama

Well Bob, if you can't beat Shays this year, you better hang it up.

As a conservative, who appreciates the great work Bush has done protecting our country from terrorist attack, despite the back stabbing efforts of the traitorous Democratic Party, I hope you beat Shay well as he is worthless.

I have had no use for Shay since he did not vote to impeach the sex crazed Clinton. As I recall, all you Democrats stood firm in support of Clinton. tsk tsk.

Are you kidding? Do you really think that the US is safer from terrorist attack now that your Bushbot has pissed off the rest of the Moslems in the world that weren't already pissed off at us in the first place?!?

If you have one hive of bees angry at you does upsetting 5 more hives make you any less likely to get stung?

Being conservative is a good thing, more power to you. Bush isn't a conservative and neither is Mccain. They are both for increasing the size of government, increasing our debt and bankrupting this country. We need a strict constitutionalist at the helm before the country is done for.

BUSH NEO-CONS DESTROYED THE REPUBLICAN PARTY

WALL STREET AGAINST REPUBLICANS IN 2008

Affluent industries get behind Dem candidates
http://tinyurl.com/25zy8k
WASHINGTON Democrats seeking the White House are raising significantly more money than Republicans this year from the industries that provide the most cash to presidential contenders — including Wall Street executives who traditionally have given to the GOP, a campaign-finance analysis shows.
The major Democratic candidates have collected nearly $81 million from the employees and political action committees of the 20 employment sectors that contributed the most money during the first six months of the year, according to a USA TODAY analysis of data compiled by the non-profit Center for Responsive Politics. In contrast, Republicans raised $47 million.
Overall, Democrats have raised more money than GOP candidates in 15 of the top 20 sectors, ranging from law firms to insurance companies.
The industries where Republicans have an advantage include accounting and manufacturing, but not Wall Street.

GOP cancer: Party could lose 20 more seats
May 14, 2008 / http://tinyurl.com/6gueqc
The Republican defeat in Tuesday's special election in Mississippi, in a deeply conservative district where, in an average year, Democrats cannot even compete, was a clear sign that the GOP has the political equivalent of cancer that has spread throughout the body. Many House GOP operatives are privately predicting that the party could easily lose up to 20 seats this fall.

Combined with the 30 seats that the GOP lost in 2006, that would leave the party facing a 70-vote deficit against Democrats in the House -- a state of powerlessness reminiscent of Republicans' long wilderness years in the 1960s and '70s.

In the first place, terrorists attacked the US. Do you recall the events of 9/11, WTC colasping, etc.?

Yes, thanks to Pres. Bush we are much safer. We killed a great number of terrorists. during his admin. Good on W.

As far as pissing off Muslims, they should be more worried about us being pissed at them.

Keep drinking the Kool-aid paul.

Why did the terrorists attack on 9/11?
The supposed mastermind of the attacks is living in caves with kidney failure and yet nobody can find him - do you believe that?
Why were the only people allowed to fly on 9/12 were high ranking Saudi's (Bin Laden family etc)?
How did 4 planes manage to be off course for over an hour and yet not get intercepted?
Why was the pentagon attacked when it has a battery of surface to air missiles?
Why was the scrap steel from WTC shipped off to China for recycling within 6 months?

Why did the US attack Iraq which was a secular society ruled by a dictator - who was also considered an enemy by Al Qaida since they want a strict Islamic theocracy?

Come on, spout the republican party line.

GWB will go down in history as THE worst American president since the country came into being. The country is bankrupt, our standing in the world is in shambles, the Chinese OWN most of our debt and sooner or later they WILL come collecting.

Promise me that in a year from today you will post again and tell me how good of a president Dubya was.

Ronald Reagan said it best. It's mot that our liberal friends are ignorant, it's just that so much of what they believe is not so.

The only way to describe your belief system is bizarre. It's a testament to American freedom that you're allowed to believe the ridiculous nonsense that you do.
