Why should we support an operation that will be moving to Suisun and helping people from the Fairfield Suisun area? The Christmas fund collected by the VALLEJO paper should stay in VALLEJO. The T-H should re-think this. I do not want my contributions to leave this city..

ALL funds collected in Vallejo for Vallejo at anytime will be used only for Vallejo!! That's why the Salvation Army wants to keep a service center open, even though the church will be closed for the time being.

This really is very sad. The Salvation Army has proven to be just the opposite of, say, The United Way. They consistently have the lowest overhead of any major charity. No jet-setting, no scandals, no perks for executives, no ARM-TWISTING by human resources personnel brow-beating you into charitable submission. Just good people quietly doing good deeds for other humans, with some prayer thrown in. I will continue to donate when I see the bucket during the holidays.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Aquarius

Unfortunately it won't take much to get your wires crossed, especially if you're trying to keep track of your Christmas preparations. It's hard to work out what still needs to be done. A member of the family is away with the fairies or is being completely fanciful. It's a pest because that sort of behavior can make you feel anxious and harassed.
