Hit-skip suspect found dead

It is a real pitty about this young man's death. His wife was caught with another man when her husband, "Marcus Balsimo" arrived home from work. She told him to deal with it. And if he didn't like it, to leave. This is when he got into an accident, and then afterward, took his own life. Life is too precious to let these things happen. God be with you marcus.

No one was hurt in the accident. He was scared he was going to go to jail, so he ran. Being on heavy alcohol, his heart was broken, so he took his life. This man was a great friend of mine, from Ohio, and he loved his wife and kids more then anyone in the world. When she told him to leave, his world and life was crushed and over with. He is with God now, and his children are without a #1 outstanding father. R.I.P. Marcus my friend.

The person named Debbie S. was telling the truth to this story. It has "alot" to do with his wife. She caused his death! If he wouldn't have found out about his wife cheating, and her telling him to get over it, then he would still be here. I loved my cousin very much, and if you knew him as a friend, you would see just how outstanding this man was, and dedicated to his family. Now his poor children have to live with out a father. She is pregnant by another man, the one she was cheating with, and has no remourse what so ever on what she has done to 'everyones' lives that knew him. TONYA BALSIMO of 109 E. I was just concerned that you might have been a troll. I'm sorry for your loss. It is a tragedy that he was hurting so much that he didn't have the emotional strength to reach out to friends and other family during his time of crisis. Of course, if he was using alcohol, that didn't help either as he was obviously was not thinking very clearly when he chose to take his life. Very sad...

Sorry for your loss. I would say I hope she is haunted by his death everyday but it sounds like she doesn't care, there are evil and selfish people like her out there unfortunately. Karma catches up with everyone, so rest assured her actions will come back to her one day

Thank you Mike. Your adsactly correct there. We all miss him in Ohio, and its just not the same without him. If you only knew this guy, he was amazing. Smiled 24/7. His wife has been cheating on him since day one. Their first child out of four, is the only one of my cousins kids. The rest are with different fathers. Of course they dont know this. Which is a good thing. Marc took care of them all as if they were his own. God is taking care of him now. Thank you again, all of you for your wonderful words.

I worked with Marcus, on a temp job. He was an awesome dude. My heart goes out to his parents and siblings. He sure was in a mess. Now he rests with God.

I know it's been a year, but believe he it's a living hell when I lost this son and it always will be. I loved him more than words can say. I tried during last summer to help get him to come to me in Georgia - where he once came in 2005 and 2006. He wanted to try his marrage down here and get away from the running around. I cried when he left
Augusta, Ga. I wanted him safe here with me. I know he was 33 years old, but I wished I would of had all the answers for him. I truly tried -( WE had a funeral here on Labor Day, so we stayed here.I was coming home the week after Labor Day - but by then everything went crazy and I didn't know he had alot stuff in his system when he made that choice. He didn't have a cell phone on him - just a 2 way radio.

So, please do not judge my son. He was so awesome in so many ways and his family and friends. He loved the holidays, he love to cook on the grill and stove, He decorated for all the holidays for his kids to enjoy. He also did so much around the house with housework and laundry.

He was the best and I'd give anything to trade places with him, if that is what God would let me do. I'm 56 and feel like I have had my fun and a good life and I would do a trade.

Marc did not hurt anyone in the accident - he was scared in the middle of early more and he died all alone and my heart breaks. Love him forever and please don't let you friends or family drink, do drugs and pain killers and be left alone and go driving to where ever. Thank you for listening and God, family and friends help keep you all safe.

What you read is true, but I know it won't bring Marc bad to call everyone's names and such. That was not Marc's way. He loved his family and no one tried to let me know that Marc was doing some stuff he shouldn't to heal his heart.
Friends and family should know by now what can happen in an instant when you're hurting and not your normal self

I knew Marcus. I just found this site, hearing about it at work. I used to work with Marcus Balsimo years ago, and do however remember him telling us boys at work how his wife was very permiscuous. He complained about her running around while he was at work and such. So whom ever writes about this lady in their comments, i do believe is telling the truth. We were all saddend with the news of his death. We found out through this paper here. Was shocking. He told us several times how he comptimplated not going home and just drive all the way to Georgia to his parents house, leaving no trace. BUT...he didn't want his kids to think of him as a loser, and they would miss him, and he them. We told him to take the kids and run, but he feared trouble from his wife, with his parents. So he was stuck here. He moved to Ga. for a while, but we never connected after that. He said he decided to take her with him, and maybe with a new envirnment, and maybe more to do down there, she would be loyal. But...from what I hear in this paper, didn't happen. I send all my blessings and regards to his poor mother in here, and I will pray for your peace of heart (Marc's Mom). He is in a much better place then he was here with 'her'. His children will follow one day, and they will reunite again one day. God bless you and all who loved and knew him.
