I am not sure if the reporterette bothered to investigate the Pennsylvania disappearance before she filed this story.

There is so much to the disappearance of Kortne: the police were not the last to see her. Her live-in boyfriend was on house arrest and violated his terms, when police came to the apartment that night because of a large rowdy party, they arrested him for violating the terms of probation. Kortne then went back out to party and came home a couple of hours later with another guy--a "friend"--who slept there and, when he woke up next morning, couldn't find her in the apartment and then left to get some breakfast. Kortne also physically went after some of the other apartment tenants in the building when she returned because she was p-o'd that someone called the cops, getting her boyfriend locked up

She was getting involved in bad characters, druggies from Harrisburg. That area of Pennsylvania (between Lancaster and Harrisburg) is rife with drug problems, gang activity and more. Word up there is that her boyfriend may have had some problems with dealers and, after he disappeared to prison, they swooped in on her. There was around a 2-3 hour window where she disappeared.

I know space is at a premium on the news reports, but our fledgling newsbabe should get a grip on how under-reporting stories affects a community. Now you have a bunch of people around Chville excited because some bounty hunter circulates a sketch and some reporterette chick decides to run with it.

A development is a development no matter how small, and merits a mention; let the readers decide whether to get excited or not. The story prompted you to expand on it, so it partially served it's purpose.

You're more than welcome to find a different news website to follow, if this one is not up to your standards. Alternatively, you might try privately emailing NBC29 and advising them of your concerns, rather than typing out a childish rant that is full of nothing but condescension. Then again, providing NBC29 with courteous and helpful suggestions was never your real goal in posting that trash, was it.

Thanks, I'm going to check out the PA. story. I did not get the connection and the raising of hopes either. It seems a little premature.

Bogus--another diversion.

To simply provide that sketch to a case of a missing operson does not constitue any connection nor any investigative value.

You are so right! Those details are important to know. The bounty hunter must be looking to get his own reality show.
Even the State Police is not involved in this connection.

Kenny pimped it out knowing that it was probably a bogus lead. Now the poor PA police are at their wits' end, but to KJ the ends justify the means: he got Morgan's story out there. It's just like reliving blink defending her decision to release the sketch despite the police not wishing to do so while they were actively investigating it. Who cares if they compromise a case as long as they get what they want?

I think even Blink would agree with you that KennyJ overstepped his bounds this time by immediately calling all media. Possibly Mr. Harrington, too, according to Geller's statement. Stunts like this must drive VSP and the FBI crazy.

Sloppy reporting sucks,,,people today can read and figure out what is the truth. I feel confident the Virginia State Police will get their killer. I also know the outcome of a investigation depends on the assigned investigator, Do I need to say more??

I can see where DNA connects this rapist to the woman he raped and his DNA on Ms Harrington shirt.
I fail to see how this connects him as her killer.
The person/persons last with Ms Harrington had to know the area her body was placed. Lt. Radar said it so well when he said, location, location, location.
The State Police lost a good man when he retired. He could have taught the department a much needed class on ETHICS.
I pray for the family and their great loss. I also pray for the person/persons who took Morgans life from her, asking whoever is involved to do the right thing and turn yourself in. If you don't trust any law enforcement please contact a lawyer, I feel confident any lawyer will be glad to help arrange your surrender.

It takes some people a LONG TIME to step back and slow down and think .

Blink seems to not be willing to stop what she is doing until someone slams her in a JAIL CELL .

That thin blue jouralist line is not as thick as she thinks it is.

But the right people are OCD about it , she will slip up .
