We are thankful that we have a good police department. They deserve a better salary than we do.

It is possible that according to detectives in our jurisdiction that the chilly and wet weather may be contributing to the thefts and violent crimes.

As usual you have it backwards. Rain LOWERS criminal activity because criminals stay inside. Hot and humid weather causes violence and outdoor crime to skyrocket.

Can you tell us what you are drinking?

Fairfax County police officers are a joke! They do nothing to solve crimes anywhere in this county. Please, they are far from "Fairfax Counties Finest"

You're right, maybe you should take the test and get hired. Then, you can show them all how it's done. That way you can become part of the solution instead of...

Seems like Mr Springfield has all the answers. Im sure he is a real hero sitting behind his desk with solutions, or perhaps he asks if you want fries with your burger. Easy to be a putz behind a computer instead of being part of a solution. PLEASE MR SPRINGFIELD help us from the evils of man

Ok, I understand your High School Diploma might make you believe you are smarter than people who have gone to real colleges. Lets be real, you live in hillbilly Va, so its not like you do that well with your life. All that is really in Fredricksburg is bars and Mcdonalds. So which of the two do you work for?
Take a drive up 95 to this place called The Pentagon. You might not know what that is but its a big building with lots of halls and kind of important people. There is 17 cafeterias here, you could apply for a job! But you have to take a test....

I would love to take the test. I can count to 10 and learn how not to solve car thefts and robberies. Oh, but I dont know how to be a dick, maybe 2/3 gets me a job!?

Yeah really!! What is he drinking or smoking???!! If you're going to pull off a crime,do it right!! What dumba@&%$!! It just about as bad as those two numbnuts down in the Richmond area driving around in a F#$&^% Gremlin shooting the country side up!
I mean, you don't see too many Gremlins on the street nowadays! Crimis, gotta love them!! They can keep you amused, you have the smart ones and then you have the ones that even make the criminals look bad! I hope the officer recovers from all of the drama and good work on catching these two lowlifes! It has been proven (so the researchers say) from "studies" that the heat does tend to make people go crazy!

Hey now we have a Wal_Mart. But Im so sure your Momma must be proud you took the test and became a cafeteria worker. I gave too much credit for you behind a desk, so I can take your test.. 2+2=4? Did I pass smart guy? Or do I ask your customers, would you like fries....Give those guys credit being a cop is well beyond your skill level, its hard work and demanding. The second guessers and the behind the scene quarterbacks need to get real. Mr Springfield having to clean up spilled juice at the counter is your level, being shot at and working violence is best left for the heroes.

My son's police cruiser was the car that was hit on the beltway at Telegraph Road and he helped to make the arrest. I am thankful that no one was seriously hurt or killed. He put himself in harm's way to keep others from being hurt as he was trained to do. They do deserve a better salary. I couldn't be prouder.

It was either a ghetto thug running from a drug dealer or a hood rat convicted of shoplifting. They're so good at both.

I'm glad they were caught, but they won't stay in jail long. They will whine "racism", will be out and in a couple of days, out committing more crimes. And then we get to hear about how long their "rap" (from which rap music gets its name) is. And I'm willing to bet it's longer than their crappy dreadlocks.

I smell a little racism there, whate does rap music and dread locks have to do with a!@ Whipes stealing a vehicle, you're saying our paler citizens don't do it either. I don't like they way the system keep cutting them loose after a few days of playing the circus court games. It's not about black people being criminals, it is this justice system that is a joke and probably ran by jerks like you.

Well I think Mr Springfield has not a single solution. He can only speculate in his mind how he would solve crime better than FCPD. Im thankful the officers arent injured too badly, and Im glad got rid of 2 criminals with no regard for anyone. I think the judges need to be more strict on sentencing and not let this go into misdemeanor sentencing. Time for a re-evaluation of guidelines. I think Mr Springfield ideas of crime are folks who take too much napkins, or ketchup from the counter.

I agree with Curious, stealing a person's vehicle is a very traumatizing experience, especially if that vehicle is the port way to your livelihood. One, the government doesn't take auto theft seriously, they constantly catch the same individuals over and over and release them with little or very ineffective reprimand (it becomes a joke to them) in the mean time, the victim have to part with paying the $500 deductables, towing and storage fees if they don't have insurance to cover it or loss of vehicle because the vehicles depreciative blue book value (not replaceable with another vehicle). In the meantime, those things are back at it again, until someone gets fed up and do something they will later regret (because the law has failed them).
