An 18-year-old woman who said she was abducted from outside a Springfield shopping center and then raped in front of her 3-month-old daughter now faces a misdemeanor charge of filing a false police report.

At least she did no have someone falsely arrested. I know cops lie all the time. I know of a man that was falsely arrested four times because a little ole cop lied. Has it occured to any of you that she recanted because she may have been threatened? Last I heard gangs don't like when you go to the police. Perhaps her attacker threatened to do her more harm if she didn't say the story was made up. Contrary to popular belief, the police cannot protect you all the time. And to the person who said she couldn't have been raped because of how she looks yuo are way of base and out of line. When has a rapist cared about how someone looks? Didn't an elderly woman get raped in that same area just last year?
