I hope Isarel invades and tracks down Hamas leaders. Hamas is bringing this on the innocent people. Israel can't just let them fire rockets into Israel. Hamas needs to be eliminated

I have no sympathy for HAMAS or the palestinian people. Israel did nothing to deserve the first rockets from Hamas. If Israel did not retaliate, would Hamas still send rockets into Israel. Of course!!! And if Israel would not respond to that, would Hamas send more rockets over? Of course!!! There is always collateral damage, even though the intent from Israel is to target Hamas. Does Hamas care where they send there rockets too? Of course not. They just don't care about anything. The hell with them and the palestinian people. They next thing into Gaza will be a 10 megaton nuclear weopon.

The children of southern Israel deserve to live!
No reason why the children of Gaza should feel safe, while the children of Sderot feel fear.

Ahh yes. The zionists control the press. And all world governments. What an idiot.

Just imagine if Vallejo just kept lobbing rockets at San Rafael what the response might be. And the idea of what is "proportionate" is idiocy as well.

There is a solution. STOP FRIGGING LOBBING ROCKETS! Israel already handed Gaza over, they just want peace. Just leave them the alone already.

The truth is, the leadership within Palestine does not want peace. If they did have their own state and lasting peace people would start looking at them and wondering what they are doing about creating an actual economy and providing for their people. Much more lucrative for the leadership to stay a proxy of Tehran with the cash that comes with it. They certainly don't care about their people - that is obvious.

I was pleasantly surprised at the postings from the Bay Area supporting Israel's actions. I incorrectly figured the anti-war crowd would be spewing their rhetoric. My bad. One Israeli official said it best... and I paraphrase..."if Mexico was shooting rockets from Tiajuana into San Diego, we would have turned Baja into a trash dump." Oh, I forgot, it already is.

Occupation? Hamas can smuggle in food! Or better yet stop smuggling rockets and shooting rockets and they can have all the food and medicine they need. But wait that would mean trying to create rather than destroy. Oh and since Israel vacated Gasza what has Hamas done to build on it. Nothing, The citizens destroyed the greenhouses Israel left. and have waged a terror campaign on Israel cities. Hamas deserves what they get. When they stop trying to kill jews they will find a better way to live.

AND why didn't we hear these voices raised against Hamas when the thousands of rockets were shot towards Israel. Its amazing how deafening your silence was.

Jewish guys living in Tiburon can say whatever they like but Palestinians have been living there for a very long time and they are now being treated like second class citizens. I simply dont see why everyone who has money and power always sides with Israel. Palestinians are mad for an understandable reason and I personally dont see a reason to side anyone. Neither side is really right about anything. Violence has always been a part of this overpopulated region and I see it as more of a natural response to any situation where there is large scale poverty.

What? Palestinians have not been living there any longer than the people in Israel. Palestinians broke a cease fire, so why are they mad by a very nature responce from Israel? Facts rule!

If Israel succeeds in destroying Hamas and all of the Palestinian people then what? There will never be peace. There are how many Jewish people and how many Muslims? Time is on the Muslims side.

Let's just give Nevada to Israel. I am sure that they could do beautiful things with it. If we need to sweeten the deal we can throw in Florida too.

That's OK, comments are free.

Are there really 100's of millions of Christians in the middle east? And who exactly is a Christian? The Evangelicals that I have spoken with don't even consider Catholics to be Christian.

What is with your name? Do you ride off-road or are you into back door play?

How many people are familar with what happened in June 8 1967 to the USS Liberty? It is interesting that more of us are not familar with this.

Get over it, I am a US Navy Veteran DD727

We will never know what really happened, I have read all the books and movies. We had a carrier in reach of our ship and did nothing. Israel apologized and made restitution.

To bad the Palestinians have picked such bad leaders in the last century.

Look back in history, the British messed everything up, and most of the holocaust could have been prevented, but not for anti Semites right here in America in government.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Sagittarius

Be careful about what you eat and drink today, my prancing Archer. Your body is in a sensitive state, so be well advised and steer clear of anything that might upset you, or to which you're sometimes allergic. Avoid anyone who's a one-man germ factory, in case a few bugs happen to jump out and over to you. Right now, you could do without it.
