I'm a little concerned about Fairdales "Bull Dog Cafe". I took my family in for a nice evening of pizza only to get charged a "cover fee" because there was a band". Service was rude, horrible and the place was nasty and out dated. The place is a NOT a "CAFE"! More like a trashy dirty bar that makes Fairdale look bad. I was told a couple weeks ago that it sometimes is used as a strip club. Seems like it's not legit and and sneaky.
Fairdale needs to be cleaned up! You can buy flowers or seeds for a nothing to fix the Fairdale entrance and some entrances to local buisnesses and neighborhoods. I think Fairdale hardware has been looking awful these last two yrs. also. When I bring my family and friends to Fairdale I want to be proud of where I live. As of right now I'm not. It should be clean and welcoming. The old BP needs to be cleaned up or done some thing with. It's a huge eye sore. We need some little coffee shops and REAL cafes. Wo wouldn't love to go for a walk though the park and then stop in at a coffee shop then maybe walk on down to get a sandwich for lunch or maybe an ice cream at a small ice cream shop? We need to get rid of the trash inside of circle k across from DQ. Watched a drug deal happen right before my very eyes by some creepy guy "Big Paul" that was cleaning the garbage cans and inside helping. I also watched him reach right in the freezer one day a grab a drink for a guy. Then watched the guy walk right out as the cashiers just smiled and told him bye. Point is, Fairdale needs to be cleaned up and we as citizens should stick together. Watch out for one another and protect the place we call home.

It's hard to clean up a town when a large majority of its residents have turned into complete trash. Many of the main family's in Fairdale are the problem, unfortunately. I wish there was a way to get rid of all the damn drug dealers but the reality is that Fairdale is a fairly cheap area to live in and safer for them than downtown so they keep flocking in and running everything and everyone down. I never thought I'd see the day when I wouldn't want to raise my own son in the place I grew up in and where most of my family still resides.

Look ive been in fairdale 23 years. And theres nowhere in fairdale id be scared to go, the drug problems are everywhere you go in life. And people in fairdale ask for cleaning and new up and up places..... problem is we dont get it, no money. METRO LOUISVILLE BULLSHIT. Maybe whoever you are that think its a shithole should maybe go too smoketown, germantown, the taylor/berry area then come back to fairdale and say its lowlife. After they tore the projects down my fav lil town got a hole new bunch of sec 8.... s.s milker's with foodstamp phones that sell there pills n run shit into tha ground. So yes i have saw a change in fairdale i dont like it but i think it will only get worse if our Metro Louisville chairmen that live in prospect in gated golf corse subs dont throw us a couple dollars for improvements
