Just came home for the holidays and took a drive down 245. I had heard that 245 was to become the burbon trail and that the road was going to be revamped and changed. Yes the new fire dept. and the new Beams building look great along with the new winery. But I can't believe that zoning has let a car junk yard business start up. What an eye sore for an up and coming area. Yes I know there are a few older home owners in that area that need a clean up also. But they have been there for years and this new junk place is a real eye sore. My family said it just keeps growing and they were under the impression that when it started it was not supposed to be like that, from what they thought it was just to be a few cars in and out with no hold over. What a mess, I feel sorry for all the people who live in the subdivision and surrounding homeowners. What happened to zoning laws in this county? What a shame that a few people can junk up such a beautiful and upcoming area. In my opinion junk yards and scenic burbon trails do not go hand in hand.
