How would someone patronize your wife over how she placed her order? Are you sure you're using that word correctly?

pa·tron·ize
[pey-truh-nahyz, pa‐] Show IPA

verb (used with object), pa·tron·ized, pa·tron·iz·ing.
1.
to give (a store, restaurant, hotel, etc.) one's regular patronage; trade with.

2.
to behave in an offensively condescending manner toward: a professor who patronizes his students.

3.
to act as a patron toward (an artist, institution, etc.); support.

So, did the lady patronize your wife ("towards" your wife) or talk about her to other (not "towards" her)?

You routinely use words that are not good fits for the context. I think you do it in an effort to appear smarter than you are.

<quoted text>Hey,how you doin' tonight girl? Been a dreary day ain't it? Anyway,I agree with you. This non-sense was tacky, tasteless and unnecessary the first time around,,,and it's only getting uglier from there.Fact is,I'm pretty sure because of the perseverance of this poster as well as thOooe strategic effort they seem to be spending at keeping this alive, that she is not a child at all,but either a woman who simply harbors childish jealousies for Linda,,,or a political rival who isn't intelligent enough to disagree without incorporating a spineless mudslinging campaign of some description. And that's honestly why I support Ms. Tinnell in her ambitions at running a successful home-style buffet. Also, since the Kitchen went out of business,,,Shepherdsville really needs a restaurant with home cooked food,I believe.I finally broke down and decided to give it a try the other day myself, but one of the young ladies decided that it would be cute to patronize my wife among the other young ladies over how she phrased her order,,,in effect sending me down the road to crab-cake shop. So,,,while I still don't know if their food is any good or not,,,it looked "great".All that aside,I hope you're having a great night Miss Bee.
Doing good! How about yourself?
I understood what you meant, by the other words in your sentence, sorry that happened to your wife, people can just be cruel...
I don't believe this story to be the full truth.
I think its just gossip and why now being brought up again out of the blue? How long ago was this supposed to have happened?
I also stated on the other bash Linda thread perhaps someone put visine in her food, no one could control their bowels after that, sober or not... Just a thought, IF In fact it did happen. I tend to think it was just a play on words like you said...” she's throwing sh##” meaning ”stuff”, not actual feces. Makes no difference to me, I just don't understand the obsession with it myself. If the lady is running a business then she's working and contributing to society. I'm not for driving under the influence of anything, knowing first hand the loss and tragedy that can come of it, but I also understand forgiveness and people paying their dues. I don't judge or wish any bad on the driver who forever changed my life, only that they learned and never do it again. Not my place to judge, i.had to let it go to be able to live my life with a healthy mind and heart.

As I said, there was never any food involved to put visine in. That's something that sparty created in his head with his imaginary friend at the gas pump. I don't care either way...but the facts are the facts.

My first wife was in a wheelchair from the time she three-years old.As mean as she could be at times though,,,she never harbored any hard feelings for the person responsible for putting there. It was actually her upbeat attitude about the whole thing that captivated my interest in her.A living inspiration that proved to me,,,that handicap is a frame of mind,,,and forgiveness ain't as over-rated as it can seem at times.Anyway, you have good night girl.

"captivated my interest"

Makes no sense. You should stop with the words over two syllables until you become a little more educated.

You write in a way to try to impart your inteligence on others, but anyone with any intelligence can see that you generally use uncommon words incorrectly.

The only time I could get mean is if someone messes with my family, or another person I care about.
Contrary to what all the doctors say, with my spinal cord injury, I refused to go into a wheel chair and have fought it with every ounce of my being. I'm getting a scooter now because it has deteriorated drastically after I took a few falls from my legs ” going out”...without me and not to a night club haha!!
I will have the scooter for really bad days or for going places that require long walks. I refused to go along with their diagnosis and for all these years it worked, after the initial paralysis. I worked very hard to overcome that and regain use of my legs, anger drove me back then, God does now! I've said it many times, laughter is the best medicine and one cannot simply lay down and give up or life will swallow you up. Life is what you make it, no matter what the situation is. I choose happiness and good. Somedays the pain makes it hard, especially the last few years. Here lately, I've had relief from the various forms of pain control, physical therapy, nerve injections (they've killed some nerves that were ” electrocuting” me) and the surgery I recent had to remove the last disc I had because it had been pressing on the nerves. My pain level is much Lower now, but so is the ability to use my legs as long or strongly as before. Come spring time tho, I will be busy doing the things I love! Even if I have to motor around to do them. Of course it gets monotonous sitting inside in the cold but it will be over soon :)
I don't harbor bad feelings because that will only change me and who I am, not the situation.
I met many people in Frazier Rehab that were much worse off than me so I don't dare complain!!
I see people now that are addicts and chase pills and drugs and aren't even in pain!! I'd rather be dead than addicted, because to me, if your addicted, you mine as well be dead! Those people have caused ALOT of people much agony because all are being ” punished & labeled” because of it. I do have a problem with that, but what can you do right! I also have a problem with this president but again, nothing I can do about that except quit watching the news, it was angering me! Its not always easy to be positive but definitely worth the effort. Especially for my family, they deserve the best of me, since I get the best of them!
Have a good day all, I have a trip to pack for. Take care.

verb (used with object), cap·ti·vat·ed, cap·ti·vat·ing.
1.
to attract and hold the attention or interest of, as by beauty or excellence; enchant: Her blue eyes and red hair captivated him.

2.
Obsolete . to capture; subjugate

So, in effect, what you are saying is that it held the attention of your attention?

Well,my wife is one of the best cooks on the planet for most anything that you can imagine,,,and then some. However, about three or four percent of the time,,,my eggs over medium need to be heated in the microwave. In short, nothing's perfect,,,every-time.All that aside,,,it's kinda unfair to go judging the breakfast on a full time basis at Linda's cafe,,,because of on experience that actually occurred at a different restaurant,,,a mile down the road.
