Your right but it's a state highway right of way, county can not put 1 up, State Rep Linda Belcher would be the one to talk to, she is the one getting the ramp widened. I go cross country through lickskillet road to peaceful way then chapeze ln. to 61 and south to home, few minutes longer but if my gas is burning setting still i would rather burn it while rolling, 20 minutes home instead of 45 just to get through to interstate or 61.

$. The city spends all of it on fire and police. The state could care less, as we're next door to Louisville and therefore we don't exist.

It's the STATE that has to put that up and has nothing to do with the city.

Awesome.I appreciate the way you presented your grief.Very direct and on point,as well as being void of individuality and emotion,(very nice).Only thing is,,,that'll only work in the real world. Here on "topics",,,where everybody expects something else even after you've given them the punchline, you need to start your thread by blaming a crooked politician for absence of said red-light as opposed simply stating a need for one. While neither will actually get you a red-light,you'll probably gain more attention to your cause by stirring up controversy and then let what what rises off the bottom,,,take it's course. The fact that the court-house packed their tent up and moved from there means that they foreseen a problem with getting funds for a red-light at that intersection,,,so I'd probably start there. That might even be them a couple a posts up passing the buck to the state level. All kiddin' aside,I believe a red light will be installed there, but I actually believe that insurance companies and their statistics actually play a critical role about such things. That's only if I interpreted information correctly that I learned elsewhere though.Good luck with ya either way.

loves is not big enough of a buisness to stop traffic for someone who doesnt like waiting to get out. it would cause a bigger problem stopping the mass amount of people for a few truckers to get out. traffic would back up clean past 65 if that happened

I agree, it's a mess at certain times of day. I would think there are lights that work on sensors and will only change after someone pulls up.

We also need a light at Preston and Adam Shepherd Pkwy.

Do you realize that when the courthouse was located there, it was (from the get-go) just a temporary location until the new courthouse could be built? Their move had nothing to do with whether there was a light there or not.

Yeah kiddo,I realized it was only a temporary thing. Was only using a little sarcasm to further some non-sense.Just to ask though,,,,,,,,,,did you really suspect,,,that I suspected,,,that the entire Bullitt County Court system,,,got ran across town,,,because of the absence of a stoplight???

Yep. Stupidity and sarcasm often appear quite similar, kiddo.

Needing a light there is certainly not "nonsense".

there a light in front of zappos and thy have a officer there that a muss at 5:00pm if only let the light do it job it be a lot better it don't need a police officer to make it worse by blocking lanes they only need to let people off at 15 to 30 mint early and later on get off time would help the problem
