Why in the world would the City Leaders make a decision like this when the School has failed multiple levies? Does anyone know how much this will cost the school in lost revenue?

From the DDN article:
"After 10 years the school district will collect 100% of the property taxes on the development."
Great move, backbiter Scott Anderson & the rest of the pathetic Springboro BOE!
Ten years is about the average time it takes these days for the average new business park to see its first tenants come & go!
In the year 2020, there's absolutely NO GUARANTEE those new Austin Pike boxes will still be occupied!

They still pay property taxes, whether "those boxes" are occupied or not.
And as Scott said in the article - right now - 25% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

How come he isn't involved in this? You'd think the guy that is so against levies and so about reform would be knocking down the doors of city hall demanding an explanation. It's not a Springboro School issue-it's a City issue. Get it together Springboro! Maybe ya'll need an 8th grade government class to refresh your memories!
