It is obvious to me that NBC Universal is going Bring Pat Brown back this to be the next big media company to end up collapsing/imploding like a deck of cheap playing cards as what is happening with ClearChannel. They are reducing KNSD to just be a broadcast source to play TV commercials in order to buoy the NBC's/General Electric corporate coffers and NOT be a true local team player. I don't see really at this point to see why they even will bother to do local news -- just produce it from a soundstage in LA.

I've always loved the news team on KNSD..I remember Las as a Charger and Pat Brown on the old PM San Diego show. But now..I thought when GE bought it, good things would happen. But they have the worst HD in San Diego,and now probably making cuts in programs to pay for the losses in other businesses.

What is happening to NBC, both national and local? It used to be such a respected network. Now they are unable to sustain neither quality dramatic nor comedy programs, relying instead on cheap reality programming that requires no writing creativity. And now, on the local front, they have axed one of our main reasons for watching channel 39: Pat Brown. To take such a vital and positive person out and replace her with a milquetoast announcer as Fritz Coleman is a travesty. But, again, do they care what the public thinks? Maybe they will when others, like me, change to a different channel.

Are we just another suburb of L.A. NBC San Diego who do you think you are fooling? I watched this Fritz Coleman character a couple of weeks ago and he was so phony as to say that he could not wait to move down here. So you have him in the studio next to Marty and Susan for a few shows then next thing you know he is out of the picture made to look like he is in the newsroom? This guy is a lifeless flake. Bring back Pat Brown or I will switch stations to CBS. KFMB here I come.

All FCC local licenses were granted with the mandate to provide locally based and locally relavant programming! KNSD is now in violation of that mandate and should either comply or have their license revoked! Bring back Pat Brown. Jim

I like Pat Brown as a person, but when it came to broadcasting she had become lazy. She was unprepared to give the weather. Every other word out of her mouth was AH! That is the sign of someone who doesn't do their homework. Susan Taylor should be next to go and Marty is on the edge. And then their manger who doesn't know the difference between news and happy chat.

I really miss watching Pat Brown broadcasting the weather on channel 7 news I use to watch her on the 5 p.m. news and looked forward to watching her every night. I miss her friendly personality.
My whole family misses watching her also.
She is a beautiful person inside and out. Please bring Pat Brown back.
Fritz Coleman is okay but its not the same without Pat Brown she is an inspiration.
