Minor earthquake shakes Fairbanks
A minor earthquake centered approximately 9 miles northeast of Kantishna shook Interior Alaska approximately 5:50 p.m. Saturday evening, Alaska time.

I lived in the area during the pipeline days. Even then I was waiting for the "big one".
Its predicted to happen someday but Alaskans have alot of courage and faith. A society not easily intimidated by what might happen.A people determined to make a life on the last frontier of America, suffering deadly winters and all that goes with it.
my hats off to you for your determination and willingness to endure.
Having lived it firsthand,I know its not easy.
