I was visiting there this past summer and was in a store there in Rose Hill and one of the ladies that works there shared her opinion of everyone that live in Rose Hill and Ewing. Just to let you know, she thinks that everyone is trash and some others that were there think that your sherriff's department are nothing but overpayed security guards. So for those people who said that and agree, why don't you imagine what it would be like without those security guards. You should be thankful that they're there to put up with all the petty crap that goes on there.

Just read your post and DID NOT like us being called trash. If( you're from Ca.) and we all know you're not, stay there or where ever you came from. As for our police force, you know NOTHING! Every one is still waiting for them to find Brenda's murderer or munderers, which will never happen. and all the drug dealers and druges that are caught is because some one ratted them out to save themselves. Any one can do that job. If I need the help of law enforcement, I call the state police. If you had stayed around long enough, maybe you couuld have got the real picture of Ewing and Rose Hill. Iwill also say we have a few good deputies but you don't know who will be sent if you need them so it's the state police if I ever need help. Stay where you're at, we have enough of you're kind already according to your post, if we're so bad we don't need you. I have lived in other states, so tell us where it's any better.

It is amazing how they keep turning people out into society.
sometime preacher Joe Aldridge was convicted of selling drugs to children ans well as child molestation. And yet he keeps going into peoples home pretending to want to fix their tubs. He drives a white van with plates " FIXTUBS" be ware of this person,my sister says he tried to molest her last month.

Rose Hill & Ewing is a great place to live it must be people are moving here every day from other places. but we don't take kind to people moving here & the first thing they do is start trying to change us.If you did'n like the way we live what did you move here for. As far as drugs are concerned it is not so much as our local people dealing & using as it is the people moving here & trying to
changing & our way of living & bringing their trash with them. Please if you fit this description
go back where you came from & maybe we won't need
so much law enforcement.

First of all you total dip shit,I lived there for most of my life and yes I am in California. If you had read my post right you would have seen that it wasn't me that was calling Rose Hill and Ewing trash. My family still lives there, so that wouldn't really make any sense. As for the local law enforcement, if you don't like them then get off your lazy ass and move. If you think you can do better than them then try it, but I can pretty much guarentee you can't, so shut your face. Learn to read idiot...

Miss Smitty, I can read, it is my favorite past time. As for the gossip you heard, did you telll them how you feel about our community or stand and let them trash us? As for you living in California, you should know every one can post what ever state or city on here they want to. And another thing I am far from being lazy and I have no intions of moving again. You told me to learn to read , well same to you. I posted i had lived in other states more than one, but I love where I live and i'm notgoing any where until The Good Lord moves me. And like miss nosey, I agree 100 percent with her about our drug problems. As far as me doing our law inforcements job,(I do'nt get paid for it, they do).All I can do is go vote and hope for the best. Have a safe trip next time you visit our little home town and I truly mean that. If I misunderstood your post I am sorry. It was your title that got to me, Ewing and Rose Hill are trash, like miss nosey I love it here. Compared to some places I've lived and visited we are truely blessed, even with all the drugs and other crimes that happen.

I just read this post and maybe it is a little late replying to it but I'm gong to anyway. My father's family, his mother and father lived in Gibson Station and they were great people. I'm sure they tried to raise their children to have good values but after they passed, maybe it didn't stick. My grandmother left a will with her wishes written down. One of her daughters was executor of the will and I didn't see or hear about that will until 2010 and I was a heir and havent seen a penny of what she left me. Did you stop to think that after the old timers who lived there died off, their families stayed around and some of them don't have the same honest values as the generation before them.

Ewing & Rose Hill is no different from any other place, it's all a matter of opinion,
and it's what you make out of it too. You can help make it good or bad.... It's up
to you on how you look @ things too... You can look for all the negative things
that are wrong with it & it will make the place look worse than what it really is ..
When in reality, it's really no different... Maybe it's just you.

Sometimes, I just think it is the people that want to whine & cry about the place
they live in. If you look for things wrong with it & never anything right with the
place you will always dislike it. And if you move somewhere else, it might have
things wrong there too. It might not be any better.and the grass might not be
any greener there. It might just be you & you might ought to make what you
can out of it. And stop looking @ all the negative things about the place, &
find some positive things about it. Because there will be both good & bad
anywhere you go. You just need to make it the best you can... Just saying
