Community, donors rebuild Ewa Beach playground area
When the playground equipment at the Ewa Beach Community Park on North Road was deemed unsafe and removed by the city in September 2011, a community development organization applied for and won a $90,000 grant from the city.

Kudos to everyone that built this park. Mostly volunteers that received no recognition or compensation at all, just a bunch of good-hearted guys using loaned company equipment, from the planning and financing stages, to the final setting up. We need more of this. This group could move mountains.
