Carelessness. Speeding is the most likely culprit. There is always some darn accident happening, and seems to increase around the holidays. They're lucky, this could have been a tragic christmas for their families.

It's IMPOSSIBLE to crash at that location if you are even vaguely paying attention. The cops should check her cell phone records to see what she was doing.

HPD are bush hiding like rats in the bushes and issuing citations for 35 MPH in a school zone while school is on vacation.
Gotta get $$$$ somewhere to pay for usurper's protection (deadbeats that they are.)

Lucky we have pitbulls and Makaha lifeguards to keep robbers away.

School zone, kids not in school, but that means they are might be playing with each other near roads and school playgrounds. So I guess since they are on Christmas vacation it is alright to speed? You must be a mainlander without ohana or little grandkids to think so selfishly and without common sense.

Nope, no kids around. It is a four lane highway, the main one around here at the high school. Turning lanes, signals etc. Go 25 mph when school is on vacation and get run over. Even going 35 mph get passed and stared at.
Only speed limit signs says 25 mph and gives school hours which most do without a problem. It's just a fund raiser for hpd and the scrubs are out here doing it.
