Isn't this really bad publicity for her? Whats her management doing going for a Jessica Simpson appeal or something? Cmon who leaves $10000+ in stuff in their back seat on the Ala Wai with their window half open? Not the smartest move for sure.

shame on whoever took the guitars but also shame on the pawn shop dealer, those kine of stores need to be policed?almost all the thing in a pawn shop is stolen, the owner should pay big fines for receiving stolen items and put in jail then maybe they would do better checking on who pawn things in their shops!!

She's obviously not the brightest bulb in the drawer...leaves guitars inside a truck parked in the sun and doesn't back up her laptop.

You know...as a tourist that makes a semi-yearly trip to Hawaii, I hear constantly about how you should never leave anything in your car that you don't wish to get stolen...In fact, in one famous location, the Pali lookout on Oahu, they recommend that you don't even lock your car because theives will smash your windows and grab whatever they can.
So, if the cops know this, why do they let it happen?

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER leave anything you value in a car (locked or unlocked) in Hawaii.......... The aloha spirit is a thing of the past as far as these "yo'yo's" go.

is not that the cops let it happen is just that they're too busy busting granma jaywalkers in Chinatown, while stuffing their faces with manapua, 3 cops at every corner in a 17 block area where crime and drug dealing are STILL rampant and happening right in the officer's face, now tell me if you think they'll have the manpower to send someone over to the Pali lookout?

The answer to your question is that they are all waiting, once they hear there is an accident 20 police officers will respond, close off more than necessary number of lanes and take 4-5 hours to complete the investigation and clear the scene.
Thieves know this so hitting spots like the Pali is no problem. And if by chance they are dumb enough to get caught, our criminal friendly judges will let them back on the street on probation.
Also, thieves know to commit their crime just before each shift changes.

Common Sense!!!! Apparnetly Anuhea Jenkins has none! Gotta be brutally honest here but if you leave 10k worth of stuff in your car to go surfing or shopping or just parking in front of your house, you might as well just put up a sign saying I'm a dumba$$, come take my stuff. Now to the pawn shop employee that accepted the goods.... Aren't pawn shops required to take a finger print and check ID of the person pawning the items? Seems like this should've been solved already as to who took it. And the pawn shop accepted the items w/o a ID or fingerprint, charge them as accessories after the fact. Pull their business license....Maybe they'll learn the law and a lesson.

I hope this incident is not a bad reflection on Bags End pawn shop. I was able to get a load when the banks turned me away.

She is partly to blame for being irresponsible. You don't usually leave an expensive items in a car in plain sight. If it was an expensive guitar even the heat inside the car can cause it to warp. Very irresponsible.

Translation: Chronics/stealers sell Anuhea's guitars at corrupt pawn shop to buy more ice. Death penalty for chronics and their ice dealers!

I usually leave replicas that look valuable in the car and then wait and hide in the bushes.

*SPLAT* goes there heads. It's all good fun.

The owners of the shop were likely to be cops, retired cops, or related to cops.

My favorite is to leave the window halfway open with a nice wrapped present box sitting on the seat.

When they get it back to their hideout hole and open it to see what it is......

Is it.........diamonds?, is it liquor? is it electronics?

NO! IT'S PURE DOG SH&T! LMFAO!
