From their actions, our elected politicians really don't care what we think. Quit bitching about them and vote for anybody but the incumbent. Give somebody else a chance. If the new person doesn't come through, do the same thing the following election. Don't let these people stay in office long enought to get a retirement.

If your gas meter is not accessable to the meter readers, it's not their problem. Why don't you clear the way for them. That's why there is the estimated charges for your current month. You'll get your adjustment next month. Maybe you should have the gas company look into digital readers, like I have here in Minneapolis..They just drive byyour house and read it digitally. Then you'll have no pelikia....AUWE

Regardingly Dunkerley and his sale of 233,000 shares of Hawaiian Air stock, which Caroline Viola says lowered the value of the stock by 16% percent:
1. If he had faith in his own product he wouldn't be selling stock in it, let alone such a large block of it at one time in such a public manner, and
2. You can be sure that he has a "golden parachute" in place and will bail on Hawaii with millions in his pocket if and when things get back for Hawaiian Air.
The ironic thing is that Hawaiian is in the position it is not because of anything he did, but because of what his "competitors" at Go! accomplished.

I don't understand why libs seem to always need to insult people, as P. D'Argent has done here . Most of the state of Hawaii's people vote Democrat. And look what it has gotten them. I don't need to enumerate , as everyone knows the problems this State has and is in. OH, BUT wait , they can blame all of the ills on that "Morally Deficient Republican Governor.
Fortunately, people get what they permit from the Government and Hawaii is " GETTING IT " big time.

I know of a girl who deliberately got pregnant by a Pake boy for no other reason than to be able to profit from Kam Schools policy of one drop of blood for the baby. She ditched the guy but has the baby now has one drop of blood.This is how insane things have become.

In general, CEO's and other officers of public corporations like Hawaiian Airlines are required to schedule stock sales well in advance. Dunkerly cashing out his options likely has nothing to do with any inside knowledge.

Then you'll have no pelikia....AUWE The Gas Company does have provisions for remote reading of a customer's meter. It's called an AMR system and is installed by GasCo. The unit is manufacured by ITRON and is in use by both the Gas Company and HECO. In most cases the gas meter is simply replaced with a newer meter with an installed AMR. The problem with replacing your gas meter is that older meters tend to run slower. A newer meter can result in a higher bill. As for access to your gas meter you can also request to read your meter yourself and call it in.

What you have to do is look up the stock and look to see the insider trading! Sometimes when a stock appreciates at a fast rate people take their profits while the grass is green. It could also be a nuber of problems but you have to do your research. Right now things look good for the company. Prices are rising, new routes will help in the losses. Gas prices will still be a big factor in the profits of Hawaiian air. It seems to be a good company....

As for our illustrious COngressional delegation in Washington, they are prime examples of why term limits are necessary. Akaka, Inouye, and Abercrombie are just sitting around waiting to die in office so the Republicans can't take them away. Abercrombie isn't even doing government business, he is micromanaging the governor and whining about the BCS and how UH had it so bad last year with their match up against Georgia. And in the end we have Mazie, who is the incumbent's yes girl. What a democracy we have!!..
