I sure hope more people realize this place is under new management. My husband and I ended up there on Halloween because the place we wanted to go to was closed... but it turned out to be our lucky night after all. The decor was pleasant, the wait staff was AWESOME, and the food was worth every penny. We started with Fried Green Tomatoes and knew from the first bite we would definately be back. I would have been happy to just eat a side of their sweet potatoes - which are REAL sweet potatoes and not yams under cover!! My husband was impressed with how his shrimp & scallops were perfectly cooked since so many places over do them. We can't wait to go back, and its the first place that has compelled me to come home and make sure I found somewhere to write a review about it.

Took a friend and my daughter (a mature 11 year old) to check it out on a Thurs night. With it being right before Halloween it wasn't too busy. The decor and atmosphere were very enjoyable, the food was excellent, the server very friendly and the new owner was out meeting and greeting customers and making sure everything was to their satisfaction. The belly dancing started at around 8:30-9 and was very fun. I would definitely return. My daughter is still raving about the Salmon dish she had and wants to take belly dancing lessons now!

I think it deserves a 2nd chance. I was in there while under old management and had a great experience. Nice cozy atmosphere, good drinks.

I must say that I was beyond impressed upon celebrating the Grand Opening of the Prohibition Grille in October! Wow, what an experience for ALL the senses! The wine selection was very good, the food prepared, cooked and served to perfect and then the entertainment....Who would have dreamed that my friends and I would be treated to such talented belly dancers who came to our table!
It was such a delight to have an evening so enchanting and first class!

They also had a unbelievable female vocalist named May Palmer singing that evening who brought the house down! She sings there a few times a month and is definitely NOT TO BE MISSED! Check her out at:

Thank you Rishi Brown (Owner) for bringing such a fabulous dining experience to downtown Everett! You and the Prohibiton Grille deserve all the success in the world!!! Keep up the great work!

We just went for appetizers and drinks, and the appetizers were wonderful: sweet potato fries, fried green tomatoes on grits, fried shrimp...all were delicious! The waitress was kind of a grump, but the entertainment was wonderful. The man's voice was beautiful! The atmosphere is romantic yet seems like a fun place to go with a group as well. I'm glad to see a place like this in Everett.

I thought the food was fine and the atmosphere was great. Although, the parking is horrid, the restaurant isn't open Sundays, and when I came to visit on a Friday night, the Jazz nights weren't going on yet.

This is the worst time of the century to buy a business, especially one in the entertainment. No one wants to go out to eat when they are being laid off and losing their money. Darlene is the name of the owner, and however much she spent on this restaurant, she's about to get SCREWED OVER by the economy. Good luck to the business. You might as well have waited to drink the water AFTER you died of dehydration.

your discouraging words are unnecessary and make you sound like a gloomy hopeless soul. I hope things start looking up for you.

I love it! I go every thursday for delicious Southern-style cooking, amazing cocktails and talented bellydancers. Besides the great food and entertainment, the decor is beautiful and very stylish. The owner, Rishi, is amazing. She goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and don't be surprised if the next time you come in she knows you by name and greets you personally at the door. Of course the staff is wonderful as well. I am a bartender at another local restaurant and I give the Prohibition's beer wine and liquor selection two thumbs up. I recommend the southern comfort steak with red eye gravy and Rishi's hand muddled sidecar martini. Defintely check it out!

I went there with my husband (before newest owners) and while the food was fine, it was the atmosphere that got us. No kids, all the brick, the piano and the bar. Warm and friendly and intimate. I am looking forward to going back.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have been three times....the food is wonderful, atmosphere totally romantic, wine selection is good. I think it's an up and coming swanky restaurant/bar in Everett, which is refreshing.

Please try it!

Went last night and had a wonderful time! The waitperson was attentive, the drinks good. There was a 6 piece jazz/blues band with a great singer. The BBQ Sampler was very good and the Sweet Potato Fries excellent. The owner introduced herself and asked if everything was ok. It was! I highly recommend this place!

Service sucked, and it takes a lot for me to complain. OMG the server couldn't even keep our waters filled, and I NEVER need a refill on water. Food was below average, WAY overpriced and we will NEVER eat there again! Our Ribeye was the worst cut of meat I've EVER had! Use your money anywhere else. It was 60$ for three beers and we split a ribeye. Spend 40$ more and get a fabulous meal at Mortons!!!

Save your money! This is the worst food, service and atmosphere that I have experienced. The worst Steak if you can call that chunk of dog food Steak owner needs to quit drinking with the customers or at least not to excess and rudness. I could not even think of anything good about my visit. What a waste of time and money. I regret spending my money and day off there! Go to the Majestic, same prices but you get what you pay for and more. Yuck
