If you are a Huskey coach than you def know who Rick is because he does the MPR's at every game so you would have been working with him on your sideline every week. Not sure why you were not notified about elections I know it was posted on the website and was open to all to attend. That would be a good question directed to the current president. I agree coaches and all who volunteer for the youth should be treated with respect and the new president has been a coach before and surely knows how you feel.

I was informed tonight that the voting procedure to vote in the President, Vice President, etc. was closed and only opened to the board members & the current President, Vice President, etc. There was a parents meeting held at 7 p.m. that night, but at 6:30 the election was held. At the parents meeting we voted in the people for the board.

I attended the board elections that night and voted on new board members. I thought that's what you meant. It was on the website for a week or so. I know the executive board elections is closed not sure why. Did the person you contacted give a reason why they are closed?

I do not know this guy from a hole in the wall so obviously I will not judge him before I actually meet him, but I do agree that there are some parents, board members, etc. who need to understand that the coaches are there as volunteers & should be treated with respect.
We were able to vote for the board, but not the President, Vice President, why is that Shouldnt the people of the organization vote in who is president and vice president?

Because they wanted who they wanted. Shady isn't it. Contact the pop warner officials, because you will get no where with the swollen heads at Glendale.

Let me start by saying I played for the huskies (years ago) have coached in both the eagles and the huskies, my children play for the Huskies. And I have to say that the huskies are not the organation it use to be and no I am not knocking the organation at all . I just think the writting is on the wall, the only way I see the huskies making it through another season is if the either drop out of popwarner (ayf), drop down to div 2, or yes combine with the eagles. The fact of the matter is just look at the leadership the huskies just in the past 6 years have had now 5 presidents
(Billy marchant, Chuck Leo, Ray Grace, Leo McKinnon, and now Rich ) when the eagles have had just 4 presidents in 46 plus years (Peter Mangravitti, Cuck Leo, Tomm Abbruzze, and Brian Diamond) I feel with stability come a good run organisation. Again just wanted to state my opion not looking to start a big up roar in the city of everett. Again just feel with all mgoing on in this city the time would be now i know Mr. Diamond is a very approachable man and most likely would atleast sit down and talk to the new leaders of the huskies and you never know if everyone does really have the best interest of the children then you just never know what greatness could accur. GOOD LUCK TO ALL

Apparently this is the way the organization decided to handle the voting. I think that if anything the coaches should at least be involved in voting the President, Vice President, etc. since we are the one's being affected by these people. Some people get voted onto the board & think that they have been voted to run the United States. It's disgusting how they act towards the volunteers who coach their children. The organization is not the same as it used to be. Things need to be changed immediately & I don't believe that it's going to happen anytime soon.

He did up & leave. He was voted off. Leo was doing a much better job than anyone gave him credit for. He got the league many large donations to help the youth in the program. He wanted to have at least another year as President but it's clear someone else did not want that. I think Leo was fabulous & should have been re-elected.

Is it true KAREN NALEN helped to get rid of him? Is she really as bad as people say she is? I thought they were friends? People say her and Lisa LaMonica are out to get the cheer coordinator anyways. Maybe because LEO stood his ground and stood by all his coaches and coordinators thats what made them turn on him. Good job Leo sticking up for what you knew was right!!!!!

From what I hear quite a few people were in on this mess. How in the world anyone thinks they could be a better cheer coach or coordinator than Kristen is comical!! If anything there are other coaches who have had much more experience than a parent if they needed to replace Kristen for any reason. Kristen's track record says it all. Leo is being stabbed in the back for not handing out favors. Sounds like city hall to me!!! I hope all of you parents take this seriously before that whole organization falls apart. There is lots of behind the scenes sneaky shit going on. Some of you parents are embarrassments to your children. Trying to screw everyone over so you can have a feeling of being someone in power??? Over some football players and cheerleaders?? Get a life!

If any bylaws were in fact broken in this cuo against Leo McKinnon then then his removal is null and void and a revote should be taken5

I personally know Karen and Lisa and they do not want to be the cheer coordinator....they always offer their help in anything the organization needs....maybe they decided not to vote for Leo because they found out that he had talked about them down the park in the summer on several occasions....I know this for a fact because he talked about them to me.....everyone should grow up and stop blaming other poeple for what they did to themself....the organization will not fall apart it never has before.....remember this is for the kids not the adults

I think Rick is a great person and he will do a good job just like every other president did.....Kristin does a good job as a cheer coordinator and I'm sure Rick will keep her in that job...hopefully by next season everyone will grow up a little bit and stop saying this person wants that persons job and just work together for the kids.....
