Ask around and see if it is bull. There are coaches in both cheer and football who will do anything to stroke their own egos. If they do not make it to Florida the whole season was a failure. It is really sad and pathetic.
TAKE BACK EVERETT you are wrong it is Bull when 1 man can stop a chid from playing a sport. That's Ray stoking his own ego check the rules any other cities with the same problem and see if that city has this type of problem with a president doing this the only person getting hurt is the child. Tell me I'm wrong.

To Ray Grace

This seems to me that You are making us look bad. If the child does not want to play for us why are you stopping him. If he does not want to play for us how much effort will he put into playing a game for us I do not know the childs age but it only makes sense to me to let him go. Again the whole situation is just making our organization look bad. Please stop the maddness and lets have a great season.

If he gives one a waiver then he has to give them all a waiver. I think he said when the recruiting stops, the refusal to sign waivers will stop. You people have no idea how bad the recruiting is.

<quoted text>I agree show me were in the registration form for any pop warner team that it says that organization owns the rights to the child for the life of them being of pop warner age. Ray is doing this because the numbers are down at the Huskies and for no other reason. I am a parent of a retired Huskie and I know for a fact that is the reason. That childs parent should file an injunction and see how fast this will stop. It's ashame that the child may have to sit out a year if the huskies don't have a team at that level. GROW UP RAY, ITS ABOUT THE CHILD NOT ABOUT YOUR EGO!!!!!!!!
Numbers are down on both leagues. Some kids are lured away with the promise of gifts and even money. These things really go on. If they do not have a certain amount of players on each team then no team can play. They have to keep their numbers up on both the Eagles and the HUskies.

TakeBackEverett enough with the b.s. about kids being offered money and gifts. If you know of this happening name the coach who made these offers.
As far as the waiver issue and the bickering that is always going on between the two organizations I offer this solution: Combine the two organizations, paint the helmets gold, slap an E sticker on the sides of the helmets and call the team the Junior Crimson Tide. The initial Executive Board of Directors could be Pete Mangraviti(Eagles founder),Bill Perkins(Huskies founder),Brian Dimond(current Eagles president),Billy Marchant(former Huskies president),John DiBiaso and Mike Milo. This executive Board would decide on the coaches for each team. After the teams are made elections for a regular B.O.D. would be held. We wouldn't have to buy equipment, we would use what the Eagles and Huskies already have. What we would need is new uniforms. Maybe Dib could use his Nike contacts for a price break. If we end up with 60 kids at each level, we'll make two teams. Billerica has had 2 and 3 teams at each level for years. The time has come to get together. Don't think for one minute that the EMass Board doesn't love the fighting between the organizations. They know how good a combined team would be. ONE TOWN,ONE TEAM- the JUNIOR CRIMSON TIDE!!!!!

Just a question, Which team was first in Everett. The Huskies or Eagles?
Everettite, that does sound like a solution. It would be nice to have 1 team. Why do you think that the Eastern Mass board like the fighting? It seems to me that they would rather have a united city, don't you think???

Why do Huskies want to be eagles when the Huskies Football team went to Florida 2 years in a row? Assuming you are talking about football and not cheering.
I still think that having 1 pop warner team is the best solution.
Anyway, good luck to both teams, cheering and football.

Pop Warner ended Bantam football in the early 80's. Then they raised the age and weight of the A teams. I haven't thought of the Bantams for a long time. Somewhere Bucky is smiling at the memories.

Yeah, parents who move their kids back and forth depending on who looks like they will make it to Florida. There are reasons for rules. Tell us why did you switch leagues?
