Par for the course but its not just happening in Everett? Shouldn't this be part of the requirement of getting a job in the public sector?
As an employee of a company I can be randomly tested for drugs without notice at any time I have a job with said company. Do employees working for the cities and/or State even take drug tests?
Here's a few people who came to mind over the last few years from other cities in and around Everett who all have 2 things in common. First, they all worked a City or town. I would assume the mayor of each City would give them the highest praise because they have to, they hired them!! Second, they all got caught!
John M. Forbes, 31, a community coordinator for East Boston in city hall, was arrested in December 2009 for selling OxyContin pills from his kitchen, and attempting to sell 10 ounces of cocaine in an undercover transaction. Forbes said that his life was out of control, thanks to a 5 pill-per-day OxyContin addiction.
Kristine Flaherty-Delano, a $53,934-a-year administrative assistant in the Bostons Property and Construction Management Department and the sister of a scheduling secretary for Mayor Thomas M. Menino was nabbed by Boston cops July 29 for allegedly selling Adderall within 1,000 feet of a school.
A Malden city worker is charged with embezzling half-a-million dollars in a scheme to steal overpaid property tax refunds.
Gia Desantis Cox, 26, was arraigned Friday in Malden District Court on charges of larceny over $250, conspiracy to commit larceny over $250, and possession of a Class B substance (oxycodone).
Richard Stewart, 42, of Saugus, and Joseph Falzone, 43, of Nashua, New Hampshire,(two former Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) employees)pleaded guilty in Middlesex Superior Court today to several charges of receiving stolen goods and conspiracy. They stole over $900,000 worth of large cast iron pieces of the historic Longfellow Bridge.
A special assistant to Malden Mayor Richard C. Howard remains on the job after being listed as one of 30 people indicted Thursday and accused of being part of a sprawling criminal enterprise that engaged in extortion, loansharking, gambling, marijuana smuggling, and violent home invasions.
Charles Toomajian, 53, of Malden, the mayor's assistant who is also a practicing attorney, is accused of being an accessory after the fact to embezzlement, according to law enforcement officials.
Nice people working on the taxpayer dime...eh?

Why would you say that? I think it's important, and you should care. That's the problem today, nobody cares about the important stuff. Just the dumb stuff.....and things that do not involve using your brain......... and what's in it for me, myself and I.
I think it shows poor judgement of the Chief Executive Officer of the city, and that's Mayor Clowno. People have the right to know, and if you don't want this information out there....the private sector is waiting!
Just like Carlo's poor judgement with finances, hires, and decisions....this just shows it AGAIN. They all STINK and people are tired of it.

I caught him behind the P.O. didiling a little boy.Great heroin however his acid left a little to be desired. Heard that his child porn collection is extensive
