Made in China food

[perspective]

After covering toys in lead
putting antifreeze in toothpaste
killing dogs with poisoned treats
poisoning their own infants & children with tainted milk
and using arsenic as a pesticide on apples (= ends up in apple juice)

you would think people would shy away from FOOD products from China.

Amazingly
you'd be wrong.

Every time I go food shopping there are more food products from China
and less options to avoid them.

From Chinese fruits
to cesspool raised "farm fish" from China
its unbelievable.

Anyone else read country of origin labels on their food and are disgusted by this??

Why don't you ask your friends in Washington why American companies can manufacture in China and not paying import fee on the stuff they bring in. Bottom line is all about the dollar so if a few babies die. They will settle lawsuit for million dollars and make $150 million in profit. And pay the workers $.50 an hour. Thank you politicians in Washington

and its ALL the politicians doing this
not just the ones on the other guys team.

We are to the point now when Congress complaining openly about lead in toys
Had China turning around American beef shipments for Mad Cow disease.

China tried dumping cheap tires on America to buy entire market.
Congress responded with a tariff
China cried trade war and slapped a 22% tariff on US built GM cars.

We let China get too strong
and none of the simple minds in Washington have the backbone or brains to go head to head with them.

Stop buying made in Chinese garbage food
before they corner that market too
and we have no choice.

Over time the labor cost will go up and China will be less competitive. it's already starting to happen as the younger Chinese are looking for a higher quality of life with cell phones, access to social media etc. They might be feeling the effects of the one child poilcy too. It won't change tomorrow but certainly over the next generation.

I agree about not trying to buy Chinese. Trying to find a dog treat notmade in China is next to impossible.

I stopped buying food from China a while ago. I do not understand why anyone would trust it. Nothing from Mexico either. I will consider buying something from Canada depending on the item. France and Italy also. That's about it.

1)The only person(s) who should be controlling senators are their constituents. Not you (unless it's your senator) and not the president.
ALL senators play party politics.
If you want control, vote EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM out.
You may have to do this several times till they finally understand who they really work for.

Unfortunately, this will never happen.

Research what Iceland went through in 2008 when they thumbed their noses at their creditors (China is our #2 Creditor, after our own Federal Reserve).
