They'll close down the Evansville plant within 10 years. They're recent desperation effort to go public didn't go well. The public only bought a small portion of the available shares. The stock has tanked since opening bell. If you choose to work there, I don't think you'll have your job forever.

I work there. Something doesn't seem right. Layoffs, firings, reorganization. Something is coming and it won't be good for my fellow employees or our community .

Berry isn't going anywhere. Yes the ppl there work hard but at least they pay good for it. My fiance used to work twice as hard for 1/3 of the money.

Madisonville... Just a heads up is awful! Such a small town, imagine if everyone on Evansville topix lived in one place. They prefer pills down there too. Just a heads up and if you aren't white travel with a buddy. I assume berry is the same everywhere.

It is a decent place to work. Lots of gossip and a little backstabbing, but that is everywhere you work with more than 1 employee.

Work is hard sometimes, but it is a steady job with benefits if you chose. The're chances for advancement or movement to another department. Attendence is very important and will hold you back if you miss too much. There are bonuses, picnics, a holiday party, and free lunches which are all good things.

Work slacks off during the winter months, but summertime is their busy season.

Go for it!

There are times when you work your ass off and times when you don't do much at all. The pay isn't too bad, especially when those raises kick in. I don't think Berry is going anywhere, but I do agree something doesn't seem quite right lately. Winter is a dead season but this year is especially dead.

Management is just trying to get department numbers where they need to be in order to get their fat ass bonuses!

Why would they close down the Evansville plant within 10 years when we get better production numbers year after year and we're also the location of the corporate headquarters? If I'm not mistaken we did get a raise this year just like the last year and they were sending people home left and right in AUGUST of last year. I remember two weekends in August last year where they didn't run enough machines to keep half of the 12 hour operators busy. I haven't so much as been asked if I'd like to leave early since February. Idk about you guys but I definitely remember thermo being slower last year.

Then this job is not for you. It's a job, not a singles bar. And I for one do not want to do your job for you while you go chasing a ho.
