Do you think someone should get away with filing bankruptcy and purchasing a brand new expensive Harley Davidson (Sept 21, 2009) in the midst of it-couldn't this person have waited until her bankruptcy was closed in December 2009.
This person had a $17,000 Subaru and a motorcycle worth $6,000, the court let her keep these-that's nice.
Do you think this is disrespectful to the judicial system and this person penalized?
Abuses of all systems are rampant. The legal system, the welfare system, disability, etc. Someone I know works and gets paid under the table in cash and receives SSI. You can't turn them in cause it's cash. Hard to track cash. I see people driving new Tahoes, Cadillacs, etc. and then hand you an EBT card to pay for groceries. Guilty people are roaming the streets and innocent people are wasting away in a jail cell. There is not much you can do. Turning them in might help, but I doubt it solve much. It's a wonder people trust any system anymore.
