If items in a game, worth 5000 usd, are stolen and I know the name of the person who stole them can I contact the police. The person also lives outside of Indiana so I assume local/state police can't be contacted. And I don't know if the fbi would take the case. But I have friends that think I should go to the police. So what do you guys think, lost cause?

i know anything over like $1000 is grand theft and if they took the stolen property across state lines i think thats a federal crime. either way its a felony for that person. just call the police and ask
