My statement is below the laws definition of intimidation. Hope you feel stupid for running your mouth on something you knew nothing about.
IC 35-45-2-1
Intimidation
Sec. 1.(a) A person who communicates a threat to another person, with the intent:
(1) that the other person engage in conduct against the other person's will;
(2) that the other person be placed in fear of retaliation for a prior lawful act; or
(3) of causing:
(A) a dwelling, a building, or another structure; or
(B) a vehicle;
to be evacuated;
commits intimidation, a Class A misdemeanor.
(b) However, the offense is a:
(1) Class D felony if:
(A) the threat is to commit a forcible felony;
(B) the person to whom the threat is communicated:
(i) is a law enforcement officer;
(ii) is a judge or bailiff of any court;
(iii) is a witness (or the spouse or child of a witness) in any pending criminal proceeding against the person making the threat;
(iv) is an employee of a school corporation;
(v) is a community policing volunteer;
(vi) is an employee of a court;
(vii) is an employee of a probation department; or
(viii) is an employee of a community corrections program.
(C) the person has a prior unrelated conviction for an offense under this section concerning the same victim; or
(D) the threat is communicated using property, including electronic equipment or systems, of a school corporation or other governmental entity; and
(2) Class C felony if, while committing it, the person draws or uses a deadly weapon.
(c) "Threat" means an expression, by words or action, of an intention to:
(1) unlawfully injure the person threatened or another person, or damage property;
(2) unlawfully subject a person to physical confinement or restraint;
(3) commit a crime;
(4) unlawfully withhold official action, or cause such
withholding;
(5) unlawfully withhold testimony or information with respect to another person's legal claim or defense, except for a reasonable claim for witness fees or expenses;
(6) expose the person threatened to hatred, contempt, disgrace, or ridicule;
(7) falsely harm the credit or business reputation of the person threatened; or
(8) cause the evacuation of a dwelling, a building, another structure, or a vehicle.
There stupid , now tell me i don't know what i am talking about. It is right there in black and white. The cop was wrong and if you want to further my rightness we can dive into my personal criminal record and see I am currently serving a class d felony sentence for sending an electronic message to someone that contained a threat.
Know your facts before you come up against me . The 2 posters before this need to go brush up on their law a lil more , or stfu. I bet you must be part of that 40% of cops who don't serve and protect as well as they should.
Ummm I'm pretty sure with my Law Degree that a law enforcement officer can not make an arrest on a misdemeanor unless they wittness it. There are only a few misdemeanors that follow the misdemeanor wittness rule and this is not one of them. Just because you can cut and paste from your PC doesn't mean you can comprehend or apply those laws. Nice Job Street Lawyer !

I have a had a few encounters with police for having a head light out & things of that nature. They were all pretty nice to me. However, I witnessed a fight next door to my house & while being questioned about what I seen I was put in handcuffs & the sheriff was very rude when I tried to answer his questions & talked to me like I was two. I doubt I'll be going out of my way to help officers anymore..

Honestly corrupt people are every where i think the best way not to b abused by an abusive cop is to stay far from illegal activity. I am thankful for every cop cause if i get abused thats is gonna b who i call first. Cops r awsome i try to speak positive they put their butts on the line to make us safe every day. I believe some may become manipulative because they deal w the worst the world has to offer criminals so in order for a cop to survive they have to learn manipulation or they would just b like idiots walking the streets getting gamed by slick talkers.
Chew on this

The Nazis never lost. They just moved to southern Indiana after hitler died... So I got that goin for me... Great place to live... Psych!! I love America, but these fuckers have walked all over my rights. Not going into detail bc I don't need any more pistols in my face. Or unlawful searches in the middle of the night.
