My uncle is a supervisor. He told me its true 36 jobs to be laid off subject to recall. Then in November a another 15 to be laid off . We are losing contracts to china cheaper labor cost .

It's funny how you know so much about it. I think the employees would know first. Berry Plastics is more professional than that. Quit trying to stir everyone up and leave us alone!!

Not in Evansville. Yes they have bought failing companies and consolidated customers and have grown themselves buy ding so.. Even more proof they are not going to layoff anyone in the corporate head quarters.

That's only cuz Berry bought it and is slowly shutting that plant down because it isn't a profitable place.

Who cares, well the hard working people who still have jobs care!! Profitable the plant has made money for the last 14 months. Berry lost 20 million last year.

if your worried about it dont be Berry is a horrible place to work and care absolutely zero about employees. If you get laid off it is a blessing
