Toyota hire felons??

Does anyone know if Toyota hires people with felonies?? And if you go through Aerotek would it make any difference?

The only way to get hired on at Toyota is thru Aerotek. I think the felony has to be quite sometime ago and non violent. I do know a few people who work out there with felonies, but they weren't recent. Like over 10 yrs old. If it's theft or something like that, it might be pretty hard unless you are really good. Try Aerotek. I put my app in and made it thru everything but the physical and I have a felony.

I am only aware of one murderer, but there could be another one. They will hire you if you meet the criteria. I know of a few ex drug dealers w/felonies that work out there, but the felony was way over 10 yrs ago.

Who cares if murders or whomever work there!
Everyone deserves a job. And is rather have them working, then desperate for food, and murder someone for food. Please Toyota hire felons

They do hire them. It just has to be a certain amount of time since then. They are probably looking at the legal aspect. If you hire a repeat rapist and the rapist rapes another employee, then they could be held liable since they were aware he/she was a rapist. Just as if they hire a thief and everyone's stuff in the locker room disappears and the cameras show the thief did it, they could again be sued because they were aware. Say you have an intimidation charge and you start intimidating someone there, they could be sued because they were aware of it.
I hope you understand where they are coming from. This is not a place that has a few employees, it's a huge factory and they are interesting in maintaining a safe work environment. If you have a felony and need work, GCQA will hire felons and so will a few other temp agencies.
