There are people that are in serious pain... but I am sure there are people that fake it! Truly a Doctor can only do the best he or she can. It's not up to a Dr. to judge a patient! New rules by state and federal are in place for Pain Mgmt places. If a patient is taking medications, most places require the patient to bring in his or her medication to be counted. This way you can determine if a patient is taking their medication correctly. Another way is the patient is tested by having blood drawn and blood levels are checked on a regular basis. If these are done correctly than there is no way to do anything incorrectly. Where most places go wrong is they write an RX too soon! Med-1st is not a pharmacy so they do not dispense medication! They only write out Rxs!!

Any word if the facility has reopened? I help talke care of my Aunt whom is a patient due to legitimate chronic pain. She had a double amputation two months ago with several follow up surgeries due to infection. It was not a "pill mill" for her and after making phone calls today - she will not be able to get into another pain mang. clinic for weeks. Are they just under investigation or are the shut down?

LOL..I think I agree with you, but it's hard to tell.

Try a period, or god forbid, more than just one comma per paragraph. You sound incoherent, which is a shame because you make a good point.

There were many referrals I had to get to even be seen there. I have chronic knee pain from previous sports injuries and my job in construction/remodeling. I am also a SELF-PAY patient, so the only assistance I get is from my own pocket. When i take my prescription as directed I am able to actually work full time. My wife has NEUROPATHY and they wouldn't even see her. She has had to find another clinic (which took about two months of crying, screaming and a few ER visits that ended in a shot of Dilaudid). So when people don't understand something, it's best to just say NOTHING AT ALL. By the way, I'm sure MY tax dollars go to things I'm not happy about, but if it helps someone out who am I to judge.

the reason a lot of people going to pain clinic cause A REGULAR DOCTOR CAN'T WRITE SCRIPS FOR PEOPLE IN CHRONIC PAIN WHICH MAKE THEM HAVE TO BE ON PAIN MEDS EVERYDAY OF THEIR LIFE!!!I'M IN MY MIDDLE 50's AND I PRAY TO GOD THAT I WASN'T IN THIS PAIN FROM THE THREE DISEASES I HAVE, YES THERE IS SOME THAT GOES THERE THAT SHOULDN'T BE AND THEY ARE NOT ADDICT THEY SALE THEM!CALLED TODAY MAKE SURE SOMEONE THERE FOR THE APPOINTMENT MADE THREE MONTHS AGO ANSWER CALL BACK NEXT WEEK AN SEE!!NOT ENOUGH TIME TO GET IN ANY WHERE ELSE!!!!

I cannot believe how ignorant people can be. I know a couple of people that work/worked there. Dr. Crowley is a inconsiderate person. I know first hand that that place has screwed up so many peoples lives, just by being investigated by the dea has led many of the helpless that are in real pain to end up not being able to find other drs.. What about the ones from hospitals and nursing homes that were taken there by medical companies (vans, ambulatory assistance, etc.) Are they all junkies too??
