I'm a current vet tech student there. I definitely recommend the program! The teachers and staff are so helpful. It's been a great experience :)

If I complete the vet tech assistant program, what can I expect to make an hour? The program's kinda expensive.

they don't make a ton of money. most vet techs do their job because they love animals. Just google the salary of a vet tech in Indiana.... lol

That school is a complete joke and a waste of money. Credits do not transfer! Also twice as expensive as ivy techs program

WOW...Just googled it and it is an entry level job, starting possibly at minimum wage! Sounds like I could get a job without formal training, ie paying for courses at Harrison. I love animals and do fostering with local rescue shelters, and with that experience I could get a job as a vet tech assistant. Vet techs make more money and have more responsibility, guess that would be the way to go.

Are you in vet tech or vet tech assistant program?

Harrison college is a waste of time. You'd be throwing money away for no benefit

So I have seen a couple people saying that Harrison college is a waste of time and money but arent really saying why they feel that way. Someone did mention that the credits don't transfer, but neither do Ivy Techs...so I ask, why is Harrison College a waste?
