If Organo Gold Multilevel Marketing Business is a scam and its a Network Marketing Business, but for example, how come the people that dropped out of school became successful like Steve jobs, bill gates, etc. and they became rich while still very young? the answer is network marketing. Compared to a highly educated student that received their phd, they still are struggling financially still and most retire by 50.

They have a product that sucks....period. Instant coffee crammed with junk is not in the best interest of the consumer, they only sell because of fools like you that buy into the get rich quick plan. It only works for all the fools ahead of you. I work for myself, I'm not rich or ever plan to be, I have more richness in what I do in life. But I will never stoop to a level to make a buck for the business criminals.
Organo Gold Horror Story

I wanna share my story of how this Organo Gold pyramid scheme/scam is ruining my ex-boyfriend's life.

My ex is a brilliant 21 year old Latino with a great job and big ambitions. Before he got actively involved with this Organo Gold scam, he was the most wonderful, kind, loving, caring person with a great big heart who was so generous and lovable. He was the perfect, most loving boyfriend and truly the man on my dreams. He dreamed of being the first Latino US President, joining the military, being a commercial airline pilot, becoming a lawyer, being a police officer, and being an entrepreneur. He was successfully pursuing all of these dreams. Our relationship was going great.

Pretty soon, things took a turn for the worse. This is when I suspect he started becoming active in this Organo Gold cult and the brainwashing began. I thought it was just a phase because he kept on saying how stressed he was by his new promotion at work but it persisted. It started off with out of character behavior (lying, making sorry excuses, saying rude things, neglecting his loved ones & our relationship, indecisiveness, lack of direction, and etc.) but it became a depression. He started acting like he was hiding something from me, he was always exhausted, busy, and his personality began to change. Eventually, his strange behavior caused us to break up.

The timing was terrible. He was stressed out by his tough job, planning his future, health problems, family problems, and a week later his grandpa later was unexpectedly hospitalized. Organo Gold, like any other commercial cult, picked up on this and brainwashed him because 2 weeks later he told me about, "this great new opportunity for financial freedom," he was sharing with all his family and friends. Organo Gold preys on innocent young working class Black or Latino Christians with little education who want endless wealth, power, respect, and fancy cars. He fit the bill perfectly and his love of helping people plus his charismatic personality are bonuses.

Within a few days of him, the mind control must have set in because the changes in him became even more drastic. He refuses to have a conversation unless Organo Gold is the topic. He wouldn't shut up about Organo Gold on Facebook (he recently stopped because his mentor said the internet is bad). He used to go to church 2 or 3 times a week but now he goes to Organo Gold meetings instead. He gets a few hours of sleep nightly because he devotes all his time to this Organo Gold cult. He recites what the leaders of this cult (Brett Shoemaker, Holton Buggs, and etc) say like its the Bible. Don't dare question anything they told him! He has pressured me over and over, lied repeatedly, and tried every single sales pitch they taught him to convince me to join his downline including scare tactics.

These leaders truly convinced him that if he makes "the 18 month commitment" and "follows the 4 steps" then he too can be an "Organo Gold Diamond" and that he will be in "the 1% who will succeed." He's so brainwashed he can't even answer the simplest questions like if it's YOUR business, how come you have to fight your way to the top and play by Organo Gold's rules? How will Organo Gold get 1% of the market if the products are overpriced and not available to the masses? Can you show me your mentor's $20,000 monthly paycheck?

Sadly, I know his downline is collapsing even though he swears he will be retiring in a month or two. I quit talking to him over Organo Gold but he recently came out of nowhere again begging me to join. He's got specials like pre-selling 40 boxes of coffee in 1 week to join for free or get a free box of coffee if you find him 10 people willing to hear about Organo Gold. He's co-signing the leaders Facebook status' about "haters" and "failure" because his friends and family don't wanna be involved or his downline is leaving.

Organo Gold is turning the love of my life into a futureless money hungry con artist with no future!

Sad to hear You're right, it's just like a cult, I hate talking to people that just want to babble about selling something and their work. These people need to be kept in confinement and given rehab. Like all the MLM scams, it's just a few that make a lot of money, I wish the law would go after these crooks more. They are very dangerous people.

It only works for the people that put in the effort. This is not a quick rich scheme at all since you must put in effort for this to work. Not for people that join and sit on their ass all day. You only work for yourself if the people give you money for the product or service that you or people sell. so what do people do and how can they get in your business and pay you?

Bottom line, the product sucks. Organo Gold sucks. It's not healthy to put that crap into your body. When will people wake up and read the ingredients of products?

Can I get some factual evidence on how Ganoderma is bad for you? If you do, I'll pull up PDIM and PLoS documentation on the research of Ganoderma/Reishi and how the spores affect the treatment of Diabetes by reversing the process, and how it kills and inhibits the development of cancer cells.

Read post #487. Diabetes is a food disease, how in the Hell can taking a product that has Sugar and Non-Dairy Creamer Glucose Syrup Solids be good for that? if you want to take Gandodrma/Reishi, then take it, you don't need it mixed into your instant coffee. How stupid is that? You NEVER want to take reishi mushroom during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Do you tell your customers that? There is a concern that it might make low blood pressure worse and could interfere with treatment. If your blood pressure is too low, it’s best to avoid reishi mushroom. Do you warn your customers the danger of reishi mushrooms?

If Jim Jones was still alive he would be at a Organo Gold meeting and tainting the coffee with false hopes and dreams, thereby killing the masses bank accounts with auto ships, seminars, fees, other fees, travel fees, material fees, fees, fees, fees..... Due to its effects in the body, ganoderma may cause dangerous effects in people with certain medical conditions and can cause negative interactions with some prescription medications. Long-term use of ganoderma may also cause certain side effects.
Negative Side Effects

If you use ganoderma for more than three to six months, you may experience some side effects. Common side effects from taking ganoderma include stomach upset, nosebleeds, dry mouth and dizziness, notes the University of Michigan Health System. You may also experience dry throat, itching, nausea and vomiting, says the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Additionally, you should consult your doctor before taking ganoderma if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, the University of Michigan advises.

Taking ganoderma may increase your risk of bleeding, because it interferes with blood clotting, according to a medical study cited by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Reishi mushrooms contain adenosine, a substance that could inhibit blood platelets from sticking together and forming clots, explains the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. You should avoid taking ganoderma if you have a medical condition that causes bleeding problems. Also, don't take ganoderma right before or following surgery and childbirth, the University of Pittsburgh cautions

Ganoderma may react with certain prescription drugs. If you take blood-thinning medications like anticoagulants or antiplatelets, you shouldn't take ganoderma due to increased bleeding risks, says the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. These medications include aspirin, Plavix, Coumadin, heparin and others, notes the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Also, avoid taking ganoderma if you take a medication to treat high blood pressure, because Reishi mushrooms may enhance the drug's effects. Other potential drug interactions with ganoderma involve immunosuppressant medications and chemotherapy.

I'm sorry, I stopped paying attention when you said Diabetes is a food disease, because you obviously don't know how it works. We tell you to consult your doctor before taking the coffee. AND, I do as a matter of fact tell my customers that the mushroom should not be taken if you're pregnant.

If Diabetes is not related to food, why is the first thing about what you eat? Notice most people that have the disease, they are fat. Physical inactivity and obesity are strongly associated with the development of type 2 diabetes. But let's not blame lack of exercise of sucking down soda's every few minutes. LOL..http://www.krgv.com/news/ coming-up-tonight-trouble-brew ing-investigation/

The Company should be shut down with serious jail time for many. Nobody really knows how much Ganoderma is in the coffee. All the information comes from the company, outside research says it sucks. The FDA has investigated the CEO. The USDA has a open case against Organo Gold. This MLM plan is not legit, many have complained about it. Falsly using the USDA seal. no warnings.

OrganoGold.com makes many claims on their website about their products, especially testifying to their “organic” nature. Unfortunately, no Organo Gold products have ever been FDA approved, and the term “organic” in the United States only applies to products which have been verified organic based on a set of standards.

In addition, many of their distributors sell Organo Gold products from websites, and many of them make significant health related claims about the powers of Ganoderma and Organo Gold. I have read distributor sites that claim Ganoderma has “been proven to fight certain forms of cancer.”

For the record, Ganoderma has never been “proven” to do anything health related. Many universities in the US are currently running studies on this mushroom and the benefits it may have, but there haven’t been any studies done by the medical community in the US or China that have proven Ganoderma’s health benefits.

In fact, a study by the University of Pittsburgh showed that prolonged use of Ganoderma could actually cause health complications, like blood thinning (which is especially dangerous in combination with certain medications, including basic aspirin) and liver problems, as well as short term problems like nose bleeds, dizziness, and upset stomach.

It is important to be careful and aware of what effects are occurring when you are trying any new supplements, especially those that have not been vetted by the FDA.

If all of the benefits on this mushroom is true. Every chinese should be very healthy. But they’re not. they still have cancer, diabetes, liver problems. ETC.. If OG is there to help people get rich by getting into this business, every member should be driving their own black Mercedes. but they’re not.

Type 2 diabetes is a disease of nutrition and NUTRITION is the way to treat it. Use some common sense.

This industry is gaining traction and you will see it steadily climb over time. These are not "get rich quick" schemes although many use it as an easy attack excuse. This industry can be very rewarding, but like anything, it takes a lot of hard work and is not for everyone.
That being said, one should do their due diligence in selecting a company to partner with. The problem is it is nearly impossible to get a fair and balanced opinion of any business in this industry. People either love it and are willing to die for it, while others hate it so much they have made it their life goal to express their opinions (and they are opinions) as loudly as possible. It's funny how both sides are usually completely unreasonable to deal with.
The biggest downside for this industry is that distributors can become very pushy which in turn encourages the person declining the offer into launching an all out personal war against the company and the industry as a whole. Personally the word scam is so overused and incorrect in the majority of these cases. There are good businesses and less than good businesses (not necessarily BAD ones, although there are some out there) just like in any industry. There are also good jobs and less than good jobs. Unless you've made it a routine to insult your local McDonald's worker for what she does for a living, I would expect the same level of respect when you're hidden behind your Internet pseudonyms.
For the record, I don't know anything about either of these coffee companies. I work in risk management for a railway and I can think of many ways our company has fallen short or many ways my job can improve. Same is true for any industry. I just saw a car decal which perked my curiosity enough to look up some info, which led me here. Sorry for my rant...
